I get that he's on the tail end of his career. Him losing is fine. However this is one of the rare times where he hasn't gotten hurt somehow (such as by wind blowing in a way he wasn't comfortable with, sidelining him for months).
I don't expect Mark Henry to be putting on 20 minute matches, but it's kinda goofy for them to present Henry the way they do, and then have matches the way they are. There's a happy medium here between putting people over and the weird stuff they're doing with Henry. I consider it an upset if Henry wins a match lately and it looks really stupid.

BECAUSE MARK WENT TO MY HOUSE, MARK ATE MY FOOD!
But really I thought they were at last doing something right with him when he had a World Title run. Now he's back to Midcard Mark that everyone remembers. He deserves better then this.

Who knows?
In the WWE, you're always just an instant away from being megapushed, jobbed out or not used at all.
Not that Mark should probably be at the top of the heap, but he should at least always be booked strong and have the majority of his losses result from being outsmarted or outmaneuvered.

The biggest reason is that he has quite the knack for getting injured during his pushes, and with Harper and Russev as two heels positioned similarly, I just don't think WWE is in the Henry business at the moment.

Because he's being booked to lose and weighs over 300 pounds?

Probably because they're aware he can get injured at any moment so they're not wasting time building him new momentum and are just relying on the bit of credibility he has left.

Henry should be IC Champ instead of Harper.

Because Zack Ryder is the small jobber.

The weirdness is that WWE positioned him as this monster heading into the PPV, despite a solid month of him jobbing to BO DALLAS all over TV. Then he gets eliminated in like 30 seconds, haha. And the guy who eliminated him (that he is feuding with no less) turns heel mid match. Henry is buried at this point. Time to hang it up, Mark.

I like Mark but the last good match I remember him having was against Punk on RAW in April 2012, almost 3 years ago now. He had a nice run there but I think his days as a top threat are over. He fills a spot now.

Henry should be IC Champ instead of Harper. They are on the same team, so by WWE logic, they should be fighting in no time.

I have no problem with this. His last interesting moment was his fake retirement speech and turn on Cena. He's been on auto-pilot ever since and my heart sinks Every time I hear his music. He's got nothing left to give. Go away, Mark.

The same reason that Joe Namath finished his career with the Rams, because he's getting old and it's just about the end of the line.

Is there any black dude in WWE right now that isn't a huge jobber?

Because he cut his hair. He's basically the WWE's Samson.

Is there any black dude in WWE right now that isn't a huge jobber? Henry got his huge push around the time that it came out that Michael Hayes had made some racist remarks towards him. Now that people have forgotten about that, and WWE's current race-relations problems center on Latinos, they're free to job out the black guys with impunity.

Was it the smile he did when Rusev was told he had to do the pledge of allegiance ? Personally I thought that was great.
