I wouldn't go so far as to predict that we would have a new ratings war on our hands by now, or that TNA would be a multi-million dollar brand today. TNA was always a sort of two-steps forward, one-step back kind of organization from the very beginning, so moronic booking choices, signing of lame stars, and stupid storylines predates him. But nonetheless, I think a general agreement can be made that before the Hogan wrecking ball came in, TNA was actually on an upward trajectory, albeit a slow one. For a period they really were feeling like an alternative product to WWE; they had a unique look, uniquely home grown stars, uniquely home grown events, and, obviously, a women's roster that put WWE to shame at the time. And, consequently, they're ratings were actually pretty darn good-not spectacular, but certainly nothing to cry about. There were even weeks were they were pulling in ratings superior to WWE's-albeit to ECW, the third string show. And on the business end of things, there seemed to be a lot happening as well-they were starting to make some deals with household brand names like Playboy, they had put out their first video game, and it just generally seemed like they were growing. But then...
Some guesses I can make about what might have been had Hogan not blown through TNA and left a path of destruction in his wake: Dixie Carter would not have become a regular onscreen character. While she did appear on TV now and then before Hogan, it was during the Hulkadoomia era that Dixie began playing a regular role on TV, and we all know how that ended up. I'd also guess that Awesome Kong might have still been with TNA to this day; lest we forget, the issue that caused her departure from TNA was a backstage altercation with Bubba the Love Sponge over his commentary on charities that she supports. While I obviously think WWE would have made her offers when her contract came up, she may actually have stayed with TNA to continue building on all she had accomplished there, and perhaps also because she would have seen more that she could do there. And, most obviously, the six sided ring would never have been done away with at all, though what effects that would have had on the wrestler's bodies long term is something I can't comment on.
Any other thoughts?

They would've been much better off. They wouldn't have wastefully spent oodles of cash on Hogan and his buddies.

Then we would've got that RVD vs Kurt Angle main event for Bound for Glory 2010 that they were slowly building up to. I remember being so bummed that we never got that because apparently they had really cool matches in ECW 06.

The Knockouts would have continued to be a major part of TNA and Impact. Awesome Kong would have stayed. TNa talent that was already their and indy signed wrestlers would have got pushed and highlighted instead of overpriced past their prime former WCW stars.

They'd still be 1.1
That's not a knock really, it's certainly better off than where they are/where they're gonna be.

Well I think they be better off financially then they seem to not be anymore for not paying Hogan's contract. Who knows how many of the other names that came in would have. They would like never wasted money on Bubba the Love Sponge, the Nasty Boys and Would they still brought in Flair, Hall, Pac, RVD, and others? I can still see Anderson coming in as he still there. Not sure about RVD. I doubt Hall and X-Pac would came back.
What I do see is if they still kept going with the 09 direction they be a lot more respectable company. Another big factor is that Amesome Kong MAY have still be with them as I know Bubba the Sponge was a huge factor of why she left. Now the marketing and the ratings not sure about because they could invest the money into those things. What I can see that the Monday move never happens and they never gone into the big ratings drop they did but came out off.

TNA was progressing really nicely in 2009 on a conservative budget and getting their biggest ratings yet with the Main Event Mafia angle. Then came 1/4/2010...

I predict that somehow, someway, Chavo would've become the greatest heavyweight champion of modern times...

The disaster that was 10/14/10 never would've happened, at least not the same way.

Same position, different scapegoat Nah bullshit. Hogan was the one who pushed for Monday Night Wars 2.0, didn't get along too well with Russo leading to his firing and swift direction change and a whole lot of other B.S like Nasty Boys and Immortal and NW0 2.0 etc. etc. There's no way in hell they'd be in as bad a position they're in now.

Dixie was going to listen to whatever bullshit artist came along like she's always done. Sure, the path would be different, but this was the end result that was going to happen no matter what. A complete Mark with a pile of money running the organization is the core problem. To avoid this you probably have to backtrack all the way to the Jarrett Split. That's the last moment TNA could have taken a completely different road resulting in a completely unknown outcome. Hell, could have been worse but we'll never know.
