I don't know why everyone expected an inversion or some angry black man BS. They are 3 dudes who are good friends and like to have fun, which can invariably lead to entertaining television similar to what we have seen them do on the WWE App. What's wrong with that? That it isn't 1995 any more? I'm thinking something like Edge and Christian's offbeat shenanigans, or even DX's various group skits. I didn't realize they were 1995. I guess I would have thought the FAN would have learned it's lesson about making snap judgments on something after one night, I remember this place absolutely shitting all over the first ever appearance of Bad News Barrett on TV. |

As someone who doesn't want the angry black man thing either... It's boring. Xavier Woods is unlikable in every sense of the word, Kofi is staler than a ten year old pack of chips someone left open in the desert, and Big E feels more like a parody of a wrestler than the real thing. Besides that, the only things they have in common are that their careers are going nowhere fast and their pigmentation. |

My guess is the original plan was for a Nation-esque stable but with the Del Rio stuff plus current national events someone realized having a group fighting the racist WWE system and be portrayed as heels was probably a really f***ing bad idea.
I don't really know what to make of what they did ultimately do. Especially since there aren't anymore other 3 man groups as someone else said.

I was hoping they would be wearing the red adidas jackets, it's a good look. Big E and Xavier Woods are organically funny, so, the stable doesn't have to be either a comedy gimmick or a New Nation-esque militant group, they just could be three funny guys working together. tell me this doesn't looks good  |

They would be 100 times better if they had Big E cut a pre-match promo in his preacher voice.
Also I'm fine with this stable since it makes Big E relevant again.

Y'know, it's too bad there aren't any big heel stables for New Day to feud with, because I think they'd totally be cool in a position of "saving other faces from heels using The Numbers Game" as part of their gimmick.
