Its bullshit that I keep getting reminded by this every 2 weeks by WWE, but I just found out that there is video footage of Brian Pillman wrestling a pencil because of ECW Exposed.
Say Brian Pillman wrestling a pencil turned the tide in the Monday Night War, it would be almost as truthful.

It didn't even make an impact in WCW. Bischoff simply dismissed them as wannabes and told Vince that next time, instead of sending them, he should visit Nitro himself.

For as much flack as we give the hyperbole thrown on it, I do remember thinking it was a really, really cool and unique moment at the time. Agreed. I enjoyed it very much so as well at the time. But the way WWE deliberately revises history to accommodate individuals still with the WWE, they make it seem like it was this important moment in the turnaround of the ratings battle. The turnaround was, and should always be remembered, driven by Austin vs. McMahon's feud. It's not even just accommodating "individuals", since most of the Attitude Era big names are on good enough terms to still be lauded by WWE. It's to accommodate "Triple H", and only Triple H. Triple H wants to be seen as the greatest of all time, but didn't have enough of a track record to have a case for it in the '90s during the Attitude Era. The only two things Triple H did during 1998 that were even remotely memorable were the Nitro invasion and the promo where they made fun of The Nation...and with all the unsavoriness of hyping up a person who's being run through the coals for being racist hanging out with a bunch of guys in blackface on live television, that kind of means DX Invading Nitro has to be seen as the greatest moment in Nitro history.

What does it say about me and/or WWE that I clicked this thread thinking "They're actually f***ing doing it?" before I read that it was merely a hypothetical? That's the only reason I'm here: Arrive. Quote post. Leave.

Uncut?
You mean as in non-tampered footage?
How would they explain the "tickets still available" then? If I recall, it was a sold out event, right?
I think even Eric himself said had he known they were out there, he would have brought them right in. Afterall, it's Nitro that benefits from their appearance, not Raw.
Again, I don't get WWE's frame of thought.

Exclusive footage of Shawn Michaels kicking his dog and going into a fit of rage he couldn't be a part of this epic confrontation...as Raw rolls on.
