I'm really interested in Lethal/Naito. I was hoping they'd set that one up.

I'm calling it, Fish is beating Briscoe for the belt.

I'm calling it, Fish is beating Briscoe for the belt. If it happens (and as I said before I hope it does), ROH needs to run with people jumping at the opportunity to team with Kyle since it leads to the World Title.

Seeing as the plan is the Battle of the Jays at the PPV in June, I'd be surprised if Fish won the title.

Outside of Lethal calling him out and modifying his new TV title, have we gotten anything in stone? Also, how many shows are between War of the Worlds and the PPV?

Also, how many shows are between War of the Worlds and the PPV? Only some "Road To" shows. Best in the World is only a month after the NJPW shows.

In that case, since this is probably Jay's last defense, I'm guessing the Fish match is so that he can get his win back and then he'll lose it to Lethal at the PPV. Having kyle challenge Lethal for the TV belt though could give us reDRagon holding both straps. There's a whole bunch of ways they can go with these, and I like all of them. But on the chance Fish wins, I still want my above post to be the only person on the internet who called it. Then, we all go to Taco Bell. Cool?

Making the four hour trip up to Minneapolis for the show tomorrow night. Minneapolis is the closest that they come to my neck of the woods and don't miss a show up there. On paper, this show doesn't excite me too much outside of the top two matches. Should be a good time regardless.
Even though MSP is a bit out of the way for ROH, the crowd the last two shows has been fantastic and has come in numbers. Aftershock pulled in standing room only by the time the show started. Anticipating about the same for this one. Feels like they should come by the area much more than what they do.

I think Lethal has to be the guy to dethrone Briscoe. I think Lethal has the best act ROH has had since Adam Cole's reign and you can only hype Briscoe's unbeaten streak for so long before it enters "Cena wins" territory, as some people are already there with it now. Fish or O'Reilly would be good too but it feels like they're still really just getting started in terms of all the great stuff they can accomplish in ROH that to put the World Title on either of them now would be premature, it would be a big deal, but give it some time and get proper momentum behind it and it'd be huge. Lethal winning it is not only deserved for him but Truth Martini deserves to manage a World Champion.

Still though Truth is the best and deserves trinkets for his services.

Man, I remember being so stoked for Roddy getting the belt from Black. Dude was putting on clinics up to that point, then they gave him shit to work with.

It didn't help that ROH put him against wrestlers who look almost the same as him, had the same bland personality, and wrestled in matches that made even the most diehard ROHbot get tired of watching.

Ugh, that match against Davey at Final Battle 2010 was a real patience tester. I really didn't think it could be topped then sure enough the next year.... yeah, let's not talk about that.

Roddy's grown on me. He still can't cut a promo for crap, but man, when he's between those ropes, there's damn few better. Seeing him vs. Kyle O'Reilly live a few months ago was amazing.

Roddy > Davey > Eddie. Roddy's grown on me. He still can't cut a promo for crap, but man, when he's between those ropes, there's damn few better. Seeing him vs. Kyle O'Reilly live a few months ago was amazing. I think RoH just sucks his soul out or something. I think he's a better talker than he's given credit for. In other promotions, he's awesome. In PWG and Evolve, he's like a different person.
