Russo wanted to create a sitcom called Rope Opera, about wrestlers, but of course, everyone said "haha, that sounds shit, no way are we greenlighting that" So Russo used the title for his book several years later. A hilarious collection of excuses and outright lies where he blames everyone else for his own failings.

When things are going great, be the first to take credit. When it is terrible, be the last to accept blame.

fightnetwork.com/news/52520:law-dec.-5-update-dixie-carter-im-a-big-vince-russo-fan/**Dixie Carter did an interview this week with The Independent as she discussed British Boot Camp Season 2 as well as the upcoming Maximum Impact tour next month. The topic of Vince Russo was also brought up and Carter stated that: I’m a big Vince Russo fan, I think he’s very talented, I think he gets a bad rap, but I feel like the way everything played itself out, when I’m negotiating a business deal and it’s private, you have to keep certain things confidential whether it’s a new signing, or how your creative is going. All things are critical to the right element, and things were getting out concerning his involvement, and it was becoming a distraction. I think he’s incredibly talented, I really do, but it’s like when you have a football player on your team, and that player is getting a certain amount of attention and distraction, he may be a very good player but you’ve got to ask yourself if it’s the right thing for where you’re at right now, and if you’re trying to create a certain kind of locker room of peace, we were right in the middle of very important stuff, and we didn’t need that. I’m a fan but it wasn’t the time to take it to another level. Vince has worked with us three different times, and the one thing I’ve learnt in wrestling is that you never say never and I’ll never say never on Vince [coming back to TNA]. www.independent.co.uk/sport/general/wwe-mma-wrestling/dixie-carter-interview-tna-president-dixie-carter-talks-british-bootcamp-cm-punk-and-vince-russo-9904443.html .........and that, right there is why no-one can take TNA Wrestling seriously.

Well supposedly the WWE were looking to drop Matt Hardy a lot earlier then they did but were reluctant to because they thought a Hardy Boys reunion in TNA would be big business for them. They finally decided it wasn't worth it and that TNA wouldn't take advantage of something like that properly anyways. Exactly. I have been left totally flat by a tag team reunion I have waited years for. Nice work, TNA.

I'd actually watch a sitcom based around professional wrestling, provided Russo wasn't involved in it.

Damn, Russo has pitched Rope Opera since 2000, according to Kevin Sullivan, he should come up with something else.

Mike is the best friend/comic relief character on the show. SWERVE! no, he's the main character's love interest. SWERVE! No, he's dead and only the main character can see him. SWERVE! No, they're Siamese twins that are joined at the elbow. SWERVE! No, not twins, but rather different psychological extremes of the same character. The episodes would be great too. The central plotline would be next to impossible to follow. A lot of stuff would just happen with no real context, build-up, continuity or payoff and the actors would get frustrated with the whole thing and just sandbag the hell out of it.

I feel like, she's delusional. Legit. Considering the dislike for this individual by the current fan base of TNA. I remember Eric Bischoff used to go on about the 10%ers and the audience that would always complain and such. Right now, I'd say the 10%ers that he was talking about probably make up the vast majority of TNA's audience. Hell, less then that bought their pay per views, so clearly at the time he was saying all that, no one was interested in purchasing their product further. But I think that group of people that TNA still has does not want anything to do with Vince Russo. Now granted, she could say this, and maybe Vince Russo won't come back, but I guess it's a scary thought.
