We will sing to you, Doctor. The Universe will sing you to your sleep..... *insert river song gif here* It's funny, because when River Song showed up, I always tended to go to sleep.

And now in one episode I'm pissed off So what happened? The TARDIS being alive with no previous explanation, a villian that works yet a storyline that doesn't (Daleks and The Game Station), jobbing out a legit interesting villian (Slytheen), and other little nitpicks. I just finished Eccleston, and overall he was a great doctor, but I anticipate Tennant

I could bombard you with references to the old series but trust me that the TARDIS being a living entity has long been established.

So what is Torchwood and where does it fit in the timeline? It comes after the 2nd season of Nu-Who, David Tennant's first. Torchwood is largely awful, but its 3rd series, Children of Earth, is one of the finest pieces of British science-fiction ever. It works as a standalone miniseries. It dips back into shit for its 4th series.

I've kind of fallen out of love with the show recently. I didn't like seasons 6 and 7, and didn't bother watching this year.
But with that said, it's definitely worth checking out if you like sci-fi and fantasy.
Torchwood season 1 is pretty rough. But if you can get through it season 2 gets pretty good. Also Children of Earth is a really good tragic story. f*** Miracle Day though.

I just finished Eccleston, and overall he was a great doctor, but I anticipate Tennant The Game Station you just have to watch knowing it's something that dates the show right when Big Brother/The Weakest Link were popular, the general idea of being sucked into life or death games used to pacify the population isn't a bad one, it's just been done elsewhere and isn't really a Dalek-y thing to do.

That's just it though. I'm not mad at the episode for taking shots at it as I found everything hilarious (From Annedroid to Bear With It). What made me mad is that the original episode Station 5 is mentioned (The Long Game) we are introduced to a villian that was basically filler, and then we get towards the end and they not only force us to feel like this area is part of the bigger picture, but bring in The Daleks and somehow try to convince us that this whole scheme is something they would do, when The Daleks only execute, not think out plans. Not only that but there is no explanation for anything else introduced to us in the saga, like the blue lady or even IF The Daleks survived The Time War (Which I still know NOTHING about), how come it took them this long to strike, and where were they in 2012 during the incident with "The Last Dalek" where the one on Earth didn't even sense them?!? What's your opinion on the end of that episode? Always good to get fresh eyes, I just hated the Doctor there.

Right now, I'm liking the charm of Tennant, but the chemistry between Chris and Rose is still better Now, I just reached the end of New Earth, and besides the Cassandra scene I have a legit question Did we ever meet The Face of Boe before? I don't remember

Both just happened to be in the wrong

The Face of Boe was in the other Cassandra episode when the Doctor and Rose are on that space station to watch the Earth be destroyed. I just hated the end where he screws over Britain and Earth for terrible reasons. Thing is the motive was there though. Harriet Jones Prime Minister (WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE) was clashing with him. Both just happened to be in the wrong But she wasn't in the wrong, she fired on aliens who had attacked her planet. They said they weren't going to come back, but they'd surrendered to the Doctor not 5 minutes before, then literally tried to stab him in the back. As she said, Earth needs to stand on it's own without him. So he changes history by eradicating a golden age of prosperity and exploration benefiting billions because it's his way or nothing.
