I think it's more that most fans fondly remember the Bobby and Gorilla period and barely remember the pre-Bobby episodes. The same is true with the ECW Show. It starts with the first episode Heyman booked, not the first episode. They have all the ECW episodes now. Cool. The pre-Heyman days a cool historical curiosity.

With them no longer taping the Philly and Boston Shows in 89 you can tell they was struggling to fill 2 hours

I forgot how much this show moved around in 87 & 88 it’s funny that Gorilla & Bobby would complain on the air about not knowing what day their on it’s almost as good as Vince complaining to USA executives that where guests about Tuesday Night Titans airing on Wednesday,Thursday or Friday.
