Every year, at least on the WWE Section, we have a thread to come up with future events for the upcoming year. This time around, I want to do something different, something more difficult and somewhat strange, if you will, and that is create a thread for predictions for 2015, only rule being, it can be about just about anything but wrestling (Probably should be best to trend lightly on political and religious things). A baseball prediction, both forms of football, something about a celebrity, trends in pop culture, your call really. I'm interested to see what people can come with, who agrees with certain things, and of course, when 2016 rolls around, whose predictions were right on the money.
Obviously, I'm not trying to be a physic or claim to be physic.
I'll get started:
. By the end of 2015, educational authorities that didn't listen to or follow will listen to or follow the recent study by doctors, and the vast majority of American Middle and High Schools will start at 8:00 AM-8:30 AM.
. By the end of 2015, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will step down or be stripped of his position.
. By the end of 2015, a new major alternative to Youtube will be available to the online world.

Games Workshop will release the 8th ed. Of Warhammer 40k after the 7th had only been released in april of 2014, forcing eveybody to buy a new edition with codex.
And players will still buy them.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron will be the year's highest grossing movie, until December that is Yeah, 'Gerry The Goldfish's Gigantic Christmas 3D' is gonna clean up at the box office. Anyway my PreDICKtions (get it? My first name is Richard... wait how would you know that!?)... This is mainly to do with Australia: Various Australian online rental companies such as Quickflix, will close down about a few months after the official arrival of Netflix in the country. Foxtel/Presto will probably be OK to compete with Netflix, as long as they have those exclusive deals with networks like HBO, and Comedy Central. Plus their sports package are popular. In the AFL the teams most likely to compete in the Grand Final are the Sydney Swans, the Port Adelaide Power or once again the Hawthorn Hawks. Wooden Spooners (the team that finishes last on the ladder) will be probably St. Kilda again or maybe the Essendon Bombers depending on what the AFL decide to do with them. |

people will complain about the new Star Wars film I predict it makes north of 350 million domestically, reaches about 1 billion globally and Rotten Tomatoes will give it 81 or 82%. |

People will complain about 2015 a month in and wish it was 2016 already. People will be glad this time of year 2015 is ending like seemingly every year these days. |

Audiences around the world will be baffled and bewildered when during "Ant Man" Paul Rudd turns to the camera and says "yo Russo....I ain't gonna play your games no more", and walks off the set, showing the soundstage they are filming on, with camera operators and catering staff confused and unsure what to do.

The Pittsburgh Pirates will be in the World Series.
The Steelers will miss the playoffs again and coaching changes will finally happen.
The Penguins will overcome their injuries and win the cup.
Roger Goodell will sadly still be in his postion
Marvel/Disney will destroy the box office
CM Punk will fight the Green Ranger in a sanctioned UFC fight.
Clint Eastwood will die. (not wishing his death he's just old as f***)

I think Ant-Man will surprise everyone by being a decent movie
Another spin-off of Arrow will be announced. Most likely Atom.
Terminator Genisys will be absolutely terrible.
The Last Guardian will finally be shown at either E3 or TGS. It will be a PS4 exclusive.

This will cause Warmachine to experience an increase in demand, which Games Workshop will interpret as "No one likes the rules in 8th Edition! We will change everything in 9th Edition and release it in June 2016!" |

-The NCAA Tournament will see the first 16-seed defeat a 1-seed. (Between the parity in college basketball and the play-ins, I think it's due.)

just throwing crap at a wall for my predictions...
Rockstar Games will surprise us all by fall next year and just put up a graphic saying "GTA VI with "ce city" spraypained next to the VI and everybody will freak out.
Guns n' Roses will release a new album by years end....and it will feature Duff on bass.
Guns n' Roses will announce that Tommy is out due to Replacements commitments and Duff will be back as a full member of the band again.
Chicago Cubs make the playoffs and win at least one playoff game.
Big Finish will announce Christopher Eccleston will reprise his role as the 9th doctor and do a series of audio dramas with big finish starting in 2016.
Paul and Ringo finish "now and then" and release it as the final beatles track also included as the b-side will be "Carnival Of Light"
