My guess (or hope), Cena wins barely, Brock hits him with the F5, Seth cashes in and the final 2 in the Rumble are Reigns and Ambrose. This leads to Rollins vs Reigns vs Ambrose at Mania.

That sounds good but would probably leave us with Lesnar vs Cena, Orton or Ryback at WM. Of those, really only Lesnar vs Orton sounds slightly appealing to me at all. I'm hoping Ambrose or Reigns wins it. At WM31 have Lesnar face one and Rollins face the other. I'd be all for: Reigns wins the Rumble... Rollins faces Ambrose at WM... Reigns beats Lesnar at WM... Rollins cashes in afterwards... Reigns beats Rollins as well. (or reverse Reigns & Ambrose) Then do the three-way at SummerSlam.

I don't begrudge a Reigns win per se, and it'll certainly be something new, but I can't get past the idea of a DB return and win. Anything else would be a disappointment for me.

See, were at the same point we were last year. Everyone knew what WWE's plan was, and many didn't like it. Batista was going to win the Rumble over a red-hot over Daniel Bryan. And he got booed because of it. Sure, Reigns is over, he does have a presence, but he's sure as hell not ready to be the top guy WWE wants him to be. If WWE tries to force a Roman Reigns push, it could fire back on them like last year.

I may be knee deep in the Nile, but I'm hoping against hope we get Lesnar over Cena and Ziggler winning the Rumble. Ziggler/Lesnar has potential and Ziggler has earned his chance to finally get the big win.

I'd love to see Ziggler/Lesnar and the inevitable Ziggler/Rollins feud that would come out of this, but I just don't see WWE pushing Ziggler enough in the 3 months or so before they announce the match to make him a credible threat to Lesnar at all. They're taking a shine to him for sure, but only halfassing it. I hope to hell they prove me wrong.

To be fair though, they can't please everybody and I'm sure there are more people who'd love a Roman win than would hate it. And most of us are probably somewhere in the middle

Finally got around to making the gif/viewing the Rumble graphics...yep they are pretty amazing/smooth/swank Very cool in my opinion. Let's hope they can keep it up with the Fast Lane and Mania graphics. Especially Mania (it always should be the best graphics of the year, like with the set etc)

If I was Big Show, I would enter the Rumble, then sit my fatass in the corner and wait. The match isn't over until someone deadlifts my fatass over the top rope. Certainly, you'd have some stronger people, but I would win out by simply holding the rope. Once they tire themselves out, I'll simply flip them over the rope with ease. But because Big Show is an idiot, he'll do that running charge and someone will grab the rope and his momentum will rush him over.

Every year, I say the same thing. "Even at it's worst, Royal Rumble has the Rumble itself, and it's usually pretty entertaining."
But given the past 8 months of WWE programming, I honestly don't know if I believe that right now.

The other option is to sit in the corner as you said while getting the shit kicked out of you for an hour and then still having (at the very least) to throw a guy out. The only Kayfabe explanation is that Show doesn't want to be a punching bag and thinks "f*** it, hold the rope down and I'll jump over it. Pay me and then I'll go home."

I think this is going to be the first time in a long time that I skip the Rumble by choice (missed seeing 2006 and 2008 live but didn't have any alternative - otherwise watched them all since 2005). I just don't care about much of anything on the horizon and the Rumble the past few years hasn't really been any good anyway. Even when I wasn't watching through the second half of 2012 and the start of 2013 I went ahead and watched the Rumble but this year... I just can't see myself doing it.
And I never want to see another Cena / Lesnar match as long as I live.
