Oh, fun booking, anyway I'm gonna post my prediction/fantasy booked Royal Rumble.
1. Jack Swagger 2. Luke Harper 3. Cesaro 4. Rusev 5. Erick Rowan 6. Kofi Kingston 7. Dean Ambrose 8. Mark Henry 9. Goldust 10. Sami Zayn 11. Kane 12. Xavier Woods 13. Damien Mizdow 14. Sheamus 15. The Miz 16. The Sandman 17. Stardust 18. Dolph Ziggler 19. Bad News Barrett 20. Daniel Bryan 21. Tyson Kidd 22. John Cena 23. Shelton Benjiman 24. Roman Reigns 25. Ryback 26. Big Show 27. Bray Wyatt 28. Big E 29. Seth Rollins 30. Randy Orton
So yeah, brief run downs. From a couple of rumours, I picked the Sandman as the ECW alumni in Philadelphia, he probably won't last too long but I'd push for Enter Sandman as the entrance for a one night deal. Sami Zayn would be the NXT guy in the Royal Rumble and he should get that opportunity because he's the NXT Champion and that should be something pushed for the network. Shelton Benjamin had some old nicknames trademarked by WWE again so if he's going to return, might as well be here. I'd also wait off for Sheamus, Bad News Barrett and Randy Orton and don't announce them, though if Daniel Bryan is able to come in, I'd announce him, make him tune in to see him in his first match back in.
Randy Orton would eliminate Seth Rollins and that could lead into a Wrestlemania match. Miz would get tossed out by, let's say Rusev, hell, maybe Sami Zayn even, but the big angle there would Sandow would not go over the top rope with him and he'd stick around longer. Rusev would be the iron man, lasting till the final 4.
My final 4 would be Roman Reigns, Dolph Ziggler, Rusev and Bad News Barrett. I'm thinking either Reigns or Ziggler should win. Reigns is the big favourite considering people want to push him to the moon, and he gets good reactions, but his verbal skills might not be there. I'd go with Reigns for now, last eliminating Rusev. Also, for the Royal Rumble stats in future years, the number 24 has spawned a couple of winners so I'd throw that as a new stat to use.

It'd be goddamn hilarious if Bryan were healthy enough to come in and they had him lose. I know they could easily have him cameo for like five minutes well before he's actually ready to come back a la Kharma, but that'd still completely piss off the average fan far more than they did last year.

I may be knee deep in the Nile, but I'm hoping against hope we get Lesnar over Cena and Ziggler winning the Rumble. Ziggler/Lesnar has potential and Ziggler has earned his chance to finally get the big win. Vince: "What's that? You want Ziggler to get tossed out by the Miz starting a midcard feud? Wish granted."

I want Damien Mizdow to eliminate Miz only to have Mizdow eliminate himself right after that

Did they actually say an ECW guy would be there, or is it just speculation? If it's just speculation, I definitely am not looking forward to people bitching that no one showed up, even though WWE never said anyone would.

I really hope they don't announce who drew what number before the match Amen That shit pisses me off. One of the best bits about the Rumble is wondering who the 2 guys to kick it off will be. I don't want to know beforehand who Entry Number 1 is, or any other number for that matter.. They've done this for the last 3 years now and it's not on. Just shut up and leave it a surprise.

I agree totally about most of the numbers and about maintaining surprises, but I think the #1/#30 match is actually a great idea. It gives a random match so much more meaning, kind of like what having a title on the line used to do. In fact, I'd love it if the whole Royal Rumble show was just the following every year: -#1/#30 match -Tag title match -IC or US title match -World Title match -Royal Rumble match

If it's just speculation, I definitely am not looking forward to people bitching that no one showed up, even though WWE never said anyone would. There've been rumors for awhile but that's all to my knowledge. Really I can't think of any original ECW guy I'd actually want to see show up for it. Maybe if he's in okay shape (kind of doubting it) and they bother to license out the right song Sandman could be cool just for the entrance but even if all of that did clear out I couldn't see them doing the crowd entrance since it'd get redundant with Reigns except Sandman's is cooler. Dreamer's probably out due to as far as I can tell still being involved with TNA, and Sabu... No clue what kind of shape he's in but maybe. Outside of those three I can't see it being worth the trouble, are even ECW faithful going to pop that hard for, I dunno, Balls Mahoney or something? I guess there is always RVD assuming he's due to come back or he's willing to put in a one-off appearance before his break's done but man, I don't ever want to see RVD again. I want Damien Mizdow to eliminate Miz only to have Mizdow eliminate himself right after that I say do something where Mizdow tosses someone while Miz is lying outside the ring trying to keep out of the way and Miz runs in and dumps him over, then while Miz boasts about that Mizdow comes back in and eliminates him in the same way because hey, has to mimic what Miz did and Miz is the only one in position for it.

If somebody correctly predicted the Royal Rumble 2015 entry numbers (including surprise entrants) I would think that person was a witch and I'd likely take it upon myself to hunt him / her down and burn him / her.

I called Batista entering at 28 last year, that count? Well, if you had him coming out any earlier than 25, I would question your sanity. It's not like Batista was exactly a cardio machine in his prime.

I decided to sim the Royal Rumble in 2K14, seeing as last year it correctly predicted Batista would win it. Who is going to WrestleMania this year then? Exactly who everyone's been saying it'd be all along... Bray Wyatt. Expect Mark Henry to get the most eliminations at seven, while the first eliminated is Kofi and the last eliminated is Jericho. Here's a more detailed breakdown - {Spoiler}1. Kofi Kingston (1, eliminated by Daniel Bryan) 2. Randy Orton (5, eliminated by Dolph Ziggler) 3. Daniel Bryan (7, eliminated by Seth Rollins) 4. Damien Mizdow (2, eliminated by Daniel Bryan) 5. Fandango (4, eliminated by Bad News Barrett) 6. Big E (3, eliminated by Fandango) 7. Bad News Barrett (11, eliminated by Ryback) 8. Dolph Ziggler (6, eliminated by Bad News Barrett) 9. Seth Rollins (8, eliminated by Bad News Barrett) 10. Ryback (12, eliminated by Mark Henry) 11. Titus O'Neil (9, eliminated by Ryback) 12. Heath Slater (10, eliminated by Bad News Barrett) 13. Mark Henry (25, eliminated by Bray Wyatt) 14. Jack Swagger (14, eliminated by Dean Ambrose) 15. Kane (13, eliminated by Dean Ambrose) 16. Dean Ambrose (16, eliminated by Rusev) 17. The Miz (15, eliminated by Mark Henry) 18. Rusev (19, eliminated by Mark Henry) 19. Rob Van Dam (23, eliminated by Erick Rowan) 20. Jey Uso (17, eliminated by Rusev) 21. Jimmy Uso (18, eliminated by Rusev) 22. Curtis Axel (20, eliminated by Mark Henry) 23. Roman Reigns (24, eliminated by Mark Henry) 24. Big Show (21, eliminated by Mark Henry) 25. Luke Harper (22, eliminated by Mark Henry) 26. Erick Rowan (27, eliminated by Bray Wyatt) 27. Bray Wyatt 28. Stardust (26, eliminated by Erick Rowan) 29. Chris Jericho (29, by Bray Wyatt) 30. Cesaro (28, by Bray Wyatt)
Henry - 7 Barrett - 4 Bray - 4 Rusev - 3 Ambrose - 2 Bryan - 2 Rowan - 2 Ryback - 2 Fandango - 1 Rollins - 1 Ziggler - 1

Why is that fake Reigns poster in the OP? The legit poster has Brock/Cena on it and then a bunch of guys who are going to be in the Rumble.

Clearly 2K15 is a more realistic game.

I'm looking forward to the Rumble match. I've decided to anticipate Roman's push instead of dreading it. I'd rather have a few others (Seth, Dean, DB, Ziggler). I like him enough and it's a new guy and, hopefully, a new era with it. Hopefully he'll improve as time goes on and work with people who can help him. And anyway, it's happening whether we like it or not.
I'm on board. Team Roman!
