So between the crowd shitting all over them with that chant, chanting for commentary, NXT, and of course CM Punk, coupled with the fact that they have literally no gimmick except THEY LIKE TO HAVE FUN!! Are the New Day a complete bust?
I think they need to do something quick, or they're going to fall into obscurity fast. The crowd has no interest in them, and it's really showing why they should have been cheerful heels in the first place...

It reminded of the whole Rocky Maivia deal from back in the day.

It reminded of the whole Rocky Maivia deal from back in the day. Well... that ended well for him at least

They are going to be heel soon. It's been foreshadowed and it's not the least bit subtle.

The Usos were around for like 4 years before anyone gave a shadow of a shit about them.

Whoever allowed that match to go as long as it did needs to get rocks thrown at them for an hour.

It was Detroit, they probably thought they were being mocked by New Day.

Goldust and Stardust aren't much more over themselves.

The Usos were around for like 4 years before anyone gave a shadow of a shit about them. To be fair they improved a lot in ring wise in that time.

Goldust and Stardust aren't much more over themselves. Goldust and Stardust weren't getting shit on in the match though, New Day was. When they got offense in, the crowd would boo. It eventually got to the point the match went on way too long and the crowd would boo every time a guy kicked out.

They are going to be heel soon. It's been foreshadowed and it's not the least bit subtle. Well, the apparently-face Ascension (not confirmed, but the promos give off that vibe.) do need someone to face off with.

The Usos were around for like 4 years before anyone gave a shadow of a shit about them. You realize Kofi's been around for over 6 years? And Big E is more than established. The gimmick sucks.

Like, it feels so obvious because that would be the logical route that I get a bad feeling that they aren't gonna go that route and are just gonna give up on the group and stop putting them on TV. Hope I'm wrong but I have no faith in WWE to do even the most basic storytelling right.

Goldust and Stardust aren't much more over themselves. TBF, how could anyone possibly care about them? They wrestle the same teams for months on end. Shit gets old.

Also Big E and Xavier were around Years in Developmental. Big E was Over at one point, Xavier was ruined from day one as he came in as "R-Truths friend", and nothing more than that.
The gimmick really isn't what they needed. They were much better as The New Nation honestly.

They're established, the gimmick isn't. I am not saying it's really a good gimmick, but my point stands, a lot of shit doesn't get over overnight.

Even TNA isn't stupid enough to think a New Nation is a good idea right now. You, uh, watch the news, don'tcha? *EDIT; I'd like to clarify, I am not calling you yourself stupid. I am just saying a racial angle could not come at a worse time, and even at the best of times, is a little too big for wrestling to tackle in a way that isn't infuriating.

Goldust and Stardust aren't much more over themselves. Goldust actually got a decent pop for his entrance. But of course, WWE had to turn them heel and torpedo all their momentum from the last year.
