Just watched Scurll vs Ospreay at High Stakes 2016, I know this is a PROGRESS thread, but you must go out of your way to see this match. Worth the £8 for this alone and I have yet to watch Speedball and Flash Morgan Webster (mark for both men) and of course the main event AJ/ZSJ. It is an indy classic, without a shadow of a doubt. Its crazy to see how British wrestling has come into a new golden age in the last couple of years, almost from the underground up, as I only became aware that we had such phenominal talent and promotions in my country (PROGRESS/Rev Pro especially) only a year ago. It easily holds its own against the stellar and massive US indy scene that has been spotlighted on since the melenium/them coming from the ends of ECW/WCW. Will Ospreay and Marty Scurll are certainly at the epicentre of it all, along with a handful of other talents, but these two especially. Proud proud Ospreay mark right here
Look for them to do the same and create another British/Indy/Overall classic match this Sunday that is now NODQ. Just thinking about everything they could now is baffling, they could already have the most interesting and amazing spots, so somehow this will be on another level for them.

Its amazing what the bare minimum of production value can do for a promo vid.
So many of them look like crap, nice to see Scrull/Progress putting some effort into this one.

They're aiming for within the next 10 days for it to be up.
Great main event last night, a different style to their Rev Pro match, and a great logical ending. Also felt that Haskins/Gibson and the women's four way were very good matches, and I also enjoyed the Tag Title match.
Hung out with a lot of the roster to watch the Rumble, including the champion.

Just got up to Chapter 12. Been watching from 1 up, and WOW at chapters 9, 10, 11. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}London Riots were always a bunch of jerks, but I totally get the amount of heat Jimmy got throughout his reign now.
That was brutal. It's like Austin/McMahon if "McMahon" was actually three pretty decent guys who made a few mistakes (that were super clear in hindsight) and "Austin" was a pretty cool guy who turned into the worst. Makes what Nathan Cruz and crew have been doing look small time.

MASSIVE four way tag in Manchester - Big Damo and the debuting JOE COFFEY vs. The Origin (Dave Mastiff & Zack Gibson) vs. Sweet Jesus (Chuck Mambo & Pastor William Eaver) vs. The Dazzler Team (Darrell Allen & Earl Black Jr.).

The wife and I just finished Chapter 17. The "Jimmy Havoc as Dexter" video at the beginning was absolutely tremendous.

Finally made it to Chapter 20.
That was a fantastic main event. Absolutely fantastic. Even knowing the result, it was still so engrossing! Ospreay is a great babyface, and Havoc... That guy is a blessing to Progress Wrestling. Easily one of the things that drew me into the company.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I'm thinking of giving this a run. Will I be sufficiently caught up just watching the Chapters (for the sake of time) or do the ENDVR events play an important role in the stories?

ENDVR plays a minor role - probably more worth watching to really keep up with the women's division. The best place to start is from when Jinny first shows up.

I meant Jinny, who's the fashionista and lead heel in the women's division. Her first appearance is ENDVR:7, where her feud with Pollyanna starts. Of course you've got to watch all the main chapter shows!

ENDVR is pretty fun to watch on it's own, but the women's matches are definitely the high point.

Today is the first Chapter show I've ever missed, as it's pretty expensive to get from London to Manchester and back for six shows a year. I'm intending to go back for the April and June shows.

As an American who had to look up what "blue side of Manchester" means, I don't quite get Bubblegum. It feels like I'm missing something.
