Bit the bullet and subscribed. Best just to go back as far as possible, or is there a good point to jump in? My suggestion is Chapter 9, which is Jimmy Havoc's heel turn that kicks off a truly astounding arc that lasts until Chapter 21. Chapter 9 also has the best PROGRESS match of 2013, Mark Haskins vs. Ricochet vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

So, quick tech question if anyone would know - anyone else have problems playing the demand videos on an Android phone? I'm playing on a Note 3 with Android 5.0 but I can't get through more than a couple minutes of video at a time without it freezing, stuttering, or stopping entirely saying something about the video being corrupted.

A lot of great talent in the match. Should be a barnburner I hope to hear where Scurll/Haskins are on the card in tomorrows match announcement. Those are another two of the current crop of UK indy guys that are brilliant, so very much looking forward to where they end up

Eddie Dennis vs. Dave Mastiff at ENDVR:14 on January 3rd - if Dennis wins, F.S.U. get a shot at the PROGRESS Tag Team Championship at Chapter 25 on January 24th. If Mastiff wins, F.S.U. are barred from any title shots for a whole year, which Dennis says in this video would essentially end F.S.U. as a team again.

Watched Hit the North last night - stellar show. Highlight was Ciampa vs ZSjr - that match was terrific. The camera work and lighting for this show was really well done. WWE could learn a thing or two from these guys in how to present a cool looking show.
Haskins vs Bubblegum crushed it as an opener. These two dudes work so well together to put on a great match. They've both got the agility, strength and cardio to just set the night up with a blazing match.
The second match was Ashmore vs a new guy. Honestly it was only okay. I think they're both fairly new dudes to the scene and it showed as the wrestling wasn't as crisp as you'd expect from Progress.
FSU/Gallagher vs The Origin: El Ligero & Cruz are PERFECT heels to me. The right mix of smarmy, cheatery and legit wrestling ability. They're fun to watch, and even more fun to hate. Fun match though I wish Gallagher got a little more time. "Shitty little horns." Nice to see Roddy's legacy extends beyond his boots. haha
Sabre Jr vs Ciampa: DAMN. I don't have audible reactions to matches on TV very often, but I was flipping my lid during this match. Ciampa had two fans hold on to Sabre so he could chop him. Zabre put Ciampa in an arm bar and dragged him across the front roll. This is honestly the kind of fun that wrestling can be while still having a well-executed, serious match.
SDS vs London Riots: For the most part, what you'd expect. Smash mouth, strike/suplex heavy match with some good team work. The end was pretty bizarre, but still - overall solid tag match, but they need to shake up the tag scene as I feel like its been SDS/Origin/Riots a few times now. Tommy End is surgical with those kicks man.
Scrull v Rampage: I absolutely love how much Scrull is heeling it up to a new degree. Dude is actively trying to get hate and for a guy as likable as Scrull, its cool that he's pulling it off, right down to his entrance music. Cool match that was proper villainy for sure. Wasn't overly long, but I like the story they've been telling with Scrull in Progress and this added to it. Whatever WWE tried to do with Reigns (smiley, hand slapping babyface who is also a destroyer), Rampage does it way better. Dude is a beast but I still believe him as a 3 dimensional person.
Ospery v Gibson v Webster: I honestly didn't know what to expect from this match. Osprey is always on point and Gibson is really great at keeping the flow of the match where it needs to be. Webster...I don't know about this guy yet. He's good, but I think he needs to find a different gimmick and really lock down what his particular style is for him to come into his own. The potential is definitely there though. Great match that I thought would only be okay, but it really had me drawn in by the end. Again, the camera work is suprisingly good for such a small promotion. Triple threats are hard to do well and still be interesting and original with them, but they pulled it off and then some for my money.
Overall though, I liked the show alot. If you have a Roku player you can rent the show for like $4, which is a steal really. I'm glad they do the rental option as its a great deal and I rarely watch any show twice.

*Will Ospreay vs. Marty Scurll for the PROGRESS Championship now official for Chapter 25 in Camden. *Rob Lynch vs. Michael Dante at Chapter 25, winner picks a stip for Chapter 27. *James Davis vs. Tommy End at Chapter 26 in Manchester, winner also picks a stip for Chapter 27. *London Riots vs. Sumerian Death Squad with the two added stips at Chapter 27 in Camden. *PROGRESS have a major announcement coming soon, which they can't reveal just yet, but management are super excited about it, and they feel the fans will love what they've got to reveal.

Is it just me, or has Havoc disappeared off the face of the earth since 21?

Is it just me, or has Havoc disappeared off the face of the earth since 21? That's the point - he's deliberately not been seen since then, just to get people wondering when, or if he'll come back. When he does, he'll likely get the hugest pop in PROGRESS history, pretty much given that he was the focal point of two years' worth of storylines.

He was (somehow) getting cheered against Robinson

PROGRESS are going to make a major announcement on Friday at 12pm UK time. It's already been confirmed that it will NOT be a TV deal, as some had already speculated. Suggestions range from a UK tour to a working agreement, to someone major coming in, or maybe even a live iPPV coming up.
