Simply put, what was the best show WWE put on this year?

I'd go with R Evolution. Mania 30 was good, but Brock/Taker was really disappointing (ending aside), and the ending to Cena/Wyatt still pisses me off. NXT didn't have a single bad match, and all the right people won. That gives it the edge for me.

R Evolution was more enjoyable to me, but I wasn't that big on Mania 30. Bryan vs. Triple H was the only match on the card that is memorable from a quality standpoint, and Bryan beating Trips then winning a glorified handicap match to win the title was over-the-top, poor storytelling to make up for how dumb they were in not running with him after Summerslam. The whole thing left me cold, compared to Summerslam where I lost my shit marking out for Bryan's win.
As far as other shows, Takeover Fatal 4 Way and Summerslam were both quite good. But R Evolution was my favorite "PPV" of the year.

I was fine with either of them winning, really. Plus you have to admit, the top-rope Natural Selection was an awesome finish.

Mania 30 hands down. I was so emotionally invested in Bryan and Cesaro looked like a boss. Brock Lesnar destroyed Undertaker. HHH put somebody over. The only match that sucked was The Shield's match.
R Evolution is great and all but I wasn't invested. Mania had me invested and was good. Take Over was just great for me but like I said I wasn't invested.

They got plenty of build for it and it could've been a good match, then they just sucked all the time away and it seemed to only happen so The Shield could have a WrestleMania moment (not that I'm complaining about that).

I loved both but I think people are going a little overboard with the R Evolution love :/

I loved [R]Evolution, but it can't touch the story that was told with Daniel Bryan this year at WrestleMania. The drama with Sami Zayn was manufactured. Well done, but still manufactured. The machine wasn't holding him down at all. Then you look at what happened with Bryan. That was real-life drama unfolding. We went to bat for our guy and refused to let WWE push him aside. That wasn't manufactured, that was real.

Hard to say. I loved NXT:TO:RE but it is a whole different beast compared to WMXXX.

[R]Evolution was fantastic, but it didn't top Wrestlemania XXX. Bryan vs. HHH, Taker vs. Lesnar, Bryan vs Orton vs Batista... it's not even a fair fight.

The NXT show. I'm still bitter about the f***ing stupid choice to end the streak. Or at least I thought it was really, really stupid.

WM 30 by quite a margin.
