Mary Poppins is a Time Lord. Wait... {Spoiler}Is that why The Master (The Mistress/Missy) is totally dressed as Mary Poppins in the most recent series of Doctor Who?
Is... Mary Poppins the Master?
That... makes an almost ridiculous amount of sense.

All of the different continuities within the Godzilla series are a result of reality being fractured by time travel in Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah
If the T-Rex was still in the holding tank, what killed the ship's crew members in The Lost World? Stowaway velociraptors.
The Cloverfield monster is a very scared, confused infant.

Considering at least one person of influence at Sony is pushing for Idris Elba to take over from Daniel Craig as the next Bond, it could be something you'll have to tolerate. I would honestly prefer if they just had him be James Bond, with no acknowledgement that he's of a different ethnicity. I want to see Idris Elba play James Bond, not play a dude playing James Bond. Though having said that, if they have Daniel Craig continue to play Bond for one more film after SPECTRE, Elba will be about 46 or 47 by the time he sips his first martini. And I kinda think that's too old to be starting out as the character. But these decisions aren't up to me, and like you said, I'll pretty much just have to deal with it.

Eh, they were able to produce Bond films a little more frequently in those days, so they got a few out of him before he started to really show his age. I feel like nowadays, if they want a solid run of flicks with one guy as Bond, they have to start with a dude in his mid-30s. Though Liam Neeson has a badass action movie franchise and he's in his 60s, so anything's possible. *shrug*

Another TV theory.
On King of the Hill, Dale always knew about Nancy's infidelity. Feigning ignorance was his way of coping with it.

Judge Doom's true form can be seen on a poster in RK Maroon's office. (Who Framed Roger Rabbit) Any screen grabs?

But there was also a sequel comic Resurrection of Doom from 1989 that talked about Doom's origin with the name Baron Von Rotten.

And related from the same show: Bill was secretly Bobby's father following a one-night stand, and that's why Peggy disliked him and why Bobby was so different from Hank.

My personal theory on King of the Hill is that Boomhauer is the only character to speak perfectly understandable Midwestern American English, but since the show is broadcast in it's native Texan English, he speaks gibberish to the Texans while all the other characters appear to sound perfectly normal.

As you said earlier, Elba is already noticeably middle-aged and would be in his late 40's when he's just starting to play Bond. I think he'd be a solid Bond now but if you are thinking long-term "franchise guy" I'd go younger.

Closest I could think of to having Dale figure out the truth about Joseph was the episode where he revealed that he always believed that Joseph was fathered by aliens.
Which in itself could be another coping mechanism Dale uses to avoid facing the real truth.

Charles and Chachi Arcola are the same person.
So are Hank Hill and Mr. Anderson....somehow.
Tiny Lister's character in The Dark Knight is a "realistic" version of Killer Croc.

Fan theory on the Terminator movies: We've been watching them in reverse.
So trying to take out John Connor as an adult was Skynet's first option, then they tried to take him out as a teenager, then went after his mother before he was born. That's why the later Terminators are so more advanced than the original from 84, Skynet are losing the war against the humans and the T-800 was the only model they had left to send.

The Cloverfield monster is a very scared, confused infant. I like this one. It adds a whole new layer to the film. It's not a fan theory though, JJ Abrams has flat out stated that fact in interviews before. Then again, he also said the monster isn't dead and we'd see a sequel so who f***ing knows. MAKE CLOVERFIELD 2 JJ! We may forgive you for Into Darkness if you do. What about the theory that Stan Lee is the same character in every Marvel movie? It doesn't make a bunch of difference but it's fun to think of that one guy being in all these places.
