Because so far, dude is on a weird career start in TNA. TNA heralds him as the first Indian wrestler on the roster (Suck on that, Sonjay Dutt.). He makes his debut in a backstage promo getting wooed by Manik who wants him join James Storm's Revolution. After some male bonding with homoerotic overtones, Manik finally takes him to meet Storm. James treats him like a rapper treats a heaux which for some reason makes Shera wants to join Storm even moreso. Storm then plots with Manik to attack and kidnap him even though I think Mahabali would gave it up with no resistance due to how smitten he is with Storm. So after getting attacked by Storm and apparently got a glass everything because he got knocked the f*** out with no real effort by James, he is dragged off to the rape dungeon brainwashing room. Again, not really necessary in this case because Shera was buying what Storm was selling without brainwashing needed. After some how escaping the Storm Compound, he reenacts the Blair Witch Project and cries out in Hindi before passing out. So TNA's hyped Indian signing is now the sex slave/ future member of James Storm apparently. Why?

I missed the weeks explaining why James Storm, goofy drunk guy, started a cult. Because WWE had a husky, bearded man who was a cult leader; TNA followed suit.

I missed the weeks explaining why James Storm, goofy drunk guy, started a cult. Apparently, I missed it too. To his credit, he's playing the role well but this whole thing feels like it came out of nowhere. One week, he just started abusing Sanada (who, for no good reason, took the abuse and allowed himself to look like a bitch). The next week, he's a cult leader and doing his best Bray Wyatt-knockoff promos. Again, to be fair, it's sigficantly more interesting than whatever he was doing before but still.

The Wyatts had a bunch of great matches with the Shield. Rowan and Harper came close to winning the tag titles and Bray wrestled John freaking Cena at Wrestlemania. Meanwhile, Storm and Abyss have won the worthless tag titles that has no division and the other half of his group consists of X-Division jobbers.

Holding the TNA tag titles and molesting Asian pretty boys aren't consider a success story unless you're Gary Glitter. The Wyatt Family were involved in the upper midcard/main event mix and threats to everyone until they splinter off. The Revolution so far are a James Storm whose stock is in the basement that cosplaying Bray Wyatt is considered an improvement, a couple of X Division wrestlers, a complete joke in Abyss, and a confused Indian muscleman. They haven't done shit of value besides winning the tag titles and kidnapping dudes.

In the respect that he's been a cult leader actually able to recruit new members and expand, they most definitely have actually handled the gimmick itself better. If WWE did the same sort of stuff with Wyatt taking directionless wrestlers and turning them into part of the family, it would have worked a lot better than his current 'cult leader without a cult' stuff.

In this case, the overall numbers still don't match up against the Wyatts. Abyss is about 4 years from when he was still considered a threat. Manik is a X Division jobber before and after the Revolution. Sanada was building himself before it got ether and he became a meaningless flunky. Not exactly an army I want to go into war with.

So that's why he was wandering around the woods having a mental breakdown? I hadn't watched Impact in over two months when I watched the best-of a few days ago, and seeing that presented without context was confusing.
Asked what the heck had gone on there on Twitter, but the only answers I got were "I don't know either" and someone asking why I stopped watching Impact, which wasn't any of their business to begin with.

James Storm wants to make Shera his little red Corvette. He is going to make him wear a raspberry beret. The kind you find in a second hand store.
