Taz is starting a podcast soon. There's got to be something in the Geneva convention to stop something like that being produced.

I'm going to go back to the AJ discussion here in a second. Going to back a few minutes and share a bit there I think needs to be typed out.
As for where I'm at... interview is over so I'll get out these points first.
Russo. "No talks for the future". That's it on Russo.
"Are you a television company who does wrestling or a wrestling company who does TV?" Yeah you can tell Dixie requested she get asked that one. f***ing terrible.

Dixie continuing on AJ after the "coming into his own in the last year" bit, JR slings her a "pain the ass" comment referring to wrestlers out of nowhere. She segues into a rant about not having time for pain in her ass guys because if she lets one do that what's going to stop everyone else from acting that way. She works too hard blah blah blah fans deserve more. If wrestlers want to come and have a great time and be a part of a great locker room then come on. But if that's not what you want to be then we're not the place for you. "I don't care how big you are, I'm sorry".
JR responds with: "yeah move on. That's easy. Go use those other amazingly marketable skills you have to maintain your quality of life in something you wanted to do all of your entire adult life since you're here and don't want to make the most of it. My theory was always if I can't solve your problem then I eliminate it. But you always try to solve it first".
I can't decipher Ross's point there, it ALMOST sounded like he was berating her for letting it get to that point with AJ underhandedly without her noticing but with how this podcast has been I really can't tell.
I found that whole exchange pretty interesting.

So Good Ol' JR had a chance to ask hard hitting questions to one of the most hated people in pro wrestling today and it went full softball Fox News interview with Sarah Palin? So disappointing. Very disappointing. Dixie used hr p.r. skills to play 3 Card Monty while JR play along with the hustle. At least when Vince McMahon said his polarizing comments a month ago, he said it unscripted and truthfully. I'm surprised JR didn't ask her about what is her favorite country song or reality show.

I was waiting for a "Hey Dixie, do you like the greatest BBQ Sauce on planet Earth?" "I sure do Jim. You see, Jim Ross' BBQ Sauce goes great on chicken, beef, pork or any of your favorite side dishes. It's bold flavor is the perfect pairing for the bold new direction of TNA." "That's right Dixie, the six sides of flavor in my BBQ has made it the #1 choice amongst that TNA Locker room. Eat like your favorite TNA Superstars: Samoa Joe, Matt Hardy or Tommy Dreamer!"

Mike Tenay is going to be doing some other show for TNA now. Some reality crap that's young and fresh. NOTHING says Young and Fresh like Mike Tenay

Ms. Carter: your company seems to have the momentum of a runaway freight train. Why are you so popular?

Just reading Cornfed's blow-by-blow of this really has me losing a lot of respect for JR. I guess this was nothing more than infomercial for Impact, huh?

There's no denying it now, this imbecile was dumped on her head a lot as a child.
"She works too hard blah blah blah fans deserve more"
She's never worked a day in her life as she's been riding on Daddy's pin number and bank account since the day she sprouted out of Janice's Vagina.

JR on the table spot: "The fans finally got the payoff after waiting and waiting, [...] and wrestling fans love to anticipate, they love to go on that journey. Even if that vocal keyboard warrior mentality says 'this is predictable', well go back to your room. Go look at grandmas pictures again because we don't need to hear that." wut? Oh Yeah J.R. Great payoff a 50 year old Non-trained Evil Authority figure gets put through the table and gets legit injured, and for what? and Bully Ray was supposed to be the babyface in all this? I swear I'm ready for TNA To shut down.

It wasn't that elaborate but she indeed put over his sauce at the end.

I'm a huge JR fan and this is a hard listen. First question was bs about "How many times can we watch TNA a week on Destination America?" Real hardball there JR. Btw did ya know Destination America is the largest pay tv programmer in the world? That's what she says in like the first couple minutes. I literally don't understand that claim. EDIT: Going on I think she meant the parent company in general. Yeah, DA's parent company is Discovery TV and they are the largest pay TV provider in the world since they have 13 US channels and then another 20 or so outside the US. So in theory they have access to all these channels since they are in the Discovery family, same way WWE has access to all the NBCU channels. JR is up there with as one of, if not the most, two faced person in wrestling. He does not care about anything but securing his bottom line and since Vince wants shit all to do with him, he has to suck up to someone so his podcast can have guest that people who would listen to a podcast actually know about.

"The locker room has never been in better shape". Because the locker room hasn't been occupied since November. Unless the TNA roster just hang out in locker rooms on their days off.

I wonder if this is what he had to agree to do to get those TNA talent interviews he had a couple months back.

It's disappointing but when you think about it, it's not all that surprising. JR's been the butt of tons of jokes at his expense in WWE and he just kind of sat there and took it. Still swears Vince and him are friends. I love JR but man is he ever a pushover.
