Adam Rose would be so much better in the Attitude Era
And I don't think Rollins and Neville would work. Little guys weren't AS popular.

In the case of Neville, the article said he would fit in around the period when the TLC 6 were breaking out. I could see Neville as a Hardcore Champion who used tables, ladders, and barricade dives as his signatures, and used his speed and agility to dodge any 24/7 contenders.

The list -
1. Paige 2. Ryback 3. Seth Rollins 4. Stardust 5. Adam Rose 6. Adrian Neville 7. Dean Ambrose 8. Bray Wyatt 9. The Bella Twins 10. Dolph Ziggler
Well, no shit Stardust would fit in the Attitude Era, he's a bad ripoff of an Attitude Era gimmick that openly tells you such.

Except, these gimmicks would be a million times crazier
1. Would be "Sexy", in a bunch of bra and panties matches and King would make weird comments about her skin. 2. Feed Me More would be Bang Me More and he would hump the air. 3. Would probably be some type of xtreme guy. Name spelled SEtH RollInz 4. Would be in an incestuous relationship with Goldust. 5. The Rosebuds would be in a giant polyamorous relationship with Rose. One of the girls would get pregnant with the Bunny's baby. 6. See Seth Rollins 7. Would say ass every other word. 8. Would be demonic and make sacrifices. I can here JR screaming "We will have a live lamb sacrifice on Raw next week". 9. See Stardust 10. Would be the former director of Val Venis' films coming to get revenge.

Ryback no way. He'd have worked maybe in he Hulkamania era but nowhere near as edgy for Attitude. He'd be this corny 'of the past' big guy who says stuff like "Wake up, it's feeding time" to himself as he stood on the ramp. Actually - kinda like now.

I don't think Dolph would fit at all. The Attitude Era was a time when everyone had their own distinct characters and personalities and Dolph has the personality of a sponge. He'd have been lost in the shuffle.

He'd have been lost in the shuffle. I think Ziggler would've been a DX member or some other wacky raunchy somewhat comedic character. I picture Attitude Era Dolph as some type of hypermasculine gay jock.

He'd have been lost in the shuffle. I thought he showed some quick wit and a personality when he was a mentor on NXT. Given that it seems the Attitude Era provided guys with a little more room for creativity, I think he could have developed more of a distinct character that could get over with the fans. But he could have also had some memorable feuds, especially with his father Billy over the rights to the "ass" gimmick!

If Dean Ambrose was in the Attitude Era, I'd picture him as a multi time Hardcore Champion and Bray Wyatt would take his cult leader gimmick to another level, but Ryback.............no more of a better fit for the Hulkamania era

Stardust isn't a bad ripoff of an Attitude Era gimmick, he's a mediocre ripoff of an pre-Attitude Era gimmick. Paige? Why exactly? Women got over in that era because they were hot and weren't afraid to show skin. While Paige is very cute (I certainly wouldn't turn her down), she's not in the stunning, fake boobed model territory that ladies like Sable, Sunny, Debra and even early Trish Stratus were in. Her whole character and appeal is based on her in-ring skills and not what she's willing to flash for a title. Would she have been a nice change of pace during the Attitude Era? Maybe. But she still would've stuck out like a sore thumb. The Bella's on the other hand I definitely agree with. Ryback in the Attitude Era? I'm "eh" about it. The Goldberg comparison's I think would've killed him out of the gate. Although I think Russo would've had a ball writing for heel-troll Ryback. Bray Wyatt would've bombed in the Attitude Era. Attention spans were way too short back then for a character like his to develop and play out properly. The Brood were essentially a 90's version of the Wyatt Family and that went absolutely no where.

The thought of Adam Rose in the Attitude Era is both disturbing and intriguing.

During the buildup to ONS 2005, Benoit faced Snitsky on Raw. The announcers said Snitsky would've been a perfect fit for ECW. The next morning, smarks were pissed.

Paige would be given Mickie James pseudo lesbian gimmick and be loved for years.

It was an angle designed to get Edge introduced, when it succeeded far beyond their goals, they decided to do nothing with it. Certainly not the wildly successful gimmick's fault.
