While I was at work tonight, I saved a very young kitten from certain death. As we were about to close, I had bought some stuff and was putting it in my car when I started hearing a faint noise. I stopped for a minute, and started listening, and the noise started getting louder, after about a minute I realized it was a kitten mewing, I just had no idea where it was. I then discovered that the kitten had crawled up into the underbelly of our store's delivery car that I was parked right next to. So I got my stockers out there with me and we jacked up the delivery car, and took the tire off, and after a few minutes we were finally able to get the poor kitten out. I brought her home with me, but my cat did not take kindly at all to an intruder invading his territory. So right now I have her on my awning, where she has some food, and water, and a makeshift litter box I made from a box from Amazon. Here is a pic of her. I'm deciding whether to keep her or not, but this little thing already loves me, she's constantly purring, and affectionately rubbing her head on me so I'm leaning towards keeping her. I think I'll name her Mira, which would be short for miracle. UPDATE! The big baby, and the little baby are now getting along!

Had the same thing happen to me (well, the kitten had crawled from under my car all the way up to my engine...I just had to pop the hood to get him out). Fed the kitty and got him healthy (he had worms in his stool). I SO wanted to keep him but, sadly for me, my current cat was not taking it well AT ALL. Thankfully, we got the little kitten a nice home.

We recently saved a kitten from my work place as well. My two cats did not handle it well at first, but now they are all bros. Gary (the kitten) is such a lovey cat, and an awesome addition to our family. Just give her and your cat time, keep them in seperate rooms, and just let them smell each other for a while. Eventually your cat will realize that a kitten is not a threat to his territory

This is actually how I got my cat. Except it was my brother who saved a cat he found trapped under a dumpster...and a few days later he realized she was pregnant. Guess who got to take in one of the kittens?

If you have the means, keep her. You've made a new friend now.

Good job. About 10 years ago I was on my way to work and I was horrified by the sight of kittens falling out of the car in front of me and bouncing off the road as I was going down the highway. I thought the person was throwing them out because I hadn't heard of them crawling up into the engine. I passed the person to see if they were tossing them out the window, but it was an old lady driving who looked completely unaware.

Keep her!!!
I had a male kitten emerge from the underbelly of a truck and follow me as I walked to the post office weaving in and out of my legs the whole time. Then he waited for me outside of the post office and followed me home. I debated keeping him but decided against it for financial reasons. The second I heard scratching on the screen door, I had an appointment at the vet scheduled and the best pet I've ever had.
Coolest cat ever. He was greeting trick r treaters at the door this year.
