I'm thinking 2 stars. The spectacle should help it out, but far as the match goes from a workrate standpoint...well, I have my concerns.

Wrestling doesn't have to be all about workrate, flashy moves, and fancy sequences.
They will put on a brawl (which is all Lesnar has been doing by the way) - and if it is nicely choreographed with a few cool spots - the match could be very much enjoyable.

You know, some people make it obvious that they only the know the "****3/4, would have been ***** if it happened in Japan" jokes and have no idea how Meltzer actually rates matches. If the match has good heat and the two guys involved aren't f***ing up stuff left and right, it will get ***+ easy.

And I'm sure what Reigns and Lesnar are really after is the approval of Dave Meltzer

When you consider that Brock and Taker struggled to a mediocre match last year at Mania in Taker's streak ending match.....Lesnar/Reigns has the potential to be absolutely awful.

I'm sure Reigns will surprise all of us with his newly acquired arsenal of technical and submission-focused moves at WrestleMania. This in turn brings out the absolute best of Lesnar who is determined not get shown up by some rookie, leading to the first 5 star WWE match since MITB '11.

How about you wait until you see the f***ing match before assigning it an imaginary rating?
Seriously, we get it. People hate Reigns. But this is ridiculous at this point and I knew this would happen the closer we got to the Rumble

It was funny when he literally gave Goto vs Ishii ****3/4 because it didn't happen in the Tokyo Dome, though.

I'm going with him giving it roughly ***1/2. I'll probably rate it lower though because I think Lesnar struggles when he has to carry someone and Reigns is still slightly green.
I don't expect it to be enjoyable for me but I think it will more than serve the purpose WWE needs it to.

That's because people that complain about star ratings care more star ratings than the people that give them out. Plus Meltzer is alo like tattoo and the other, other F word.

Meltzer actually gives most WWE PPV matches that go 15 minutes plus three or more stars so long as they aren't total catastrophes, and I doubt Reigns and Lesnar would be a trainwreck, so it'd probably be a solid ***1/2.

I don't do star ratings but I see no chance in hell of such a match being good. Most of Lesnar's since coming back haven't been, Reigns more than likely isn't going to be one of the guys to manage otherwise, and the match probably isn't going to have any sort of hot story or heavy crowd investment to make up for it.

Ironically, when Stardust rates matches, he uses a scale of minus-five to five Meltzers.

If Reigns is willing to take 20 suplexes.. where's the problem? It's all up to Brock to keep the vibe of an arrogant monster going like at SummerSlam, and Reigns just has to hang in there and get a well booked comeback at the end. It's mostly in Lesnar's hands I think, at least with how I'm assuming they'd book it. An Undertaker/Batista at WrestleMania style back and forth power match kind of thing I don't know if Reigns is ready for though. Maybe we'll end up with something like a mix of that and Cena/Lesnar at Summerslam.

Star ratings are subjective and overrated. I have see tons of matches Dave was meh on and I loved. I also watched matches he loved and wasn't as wowed as he was by it. I go by the Rotten Tomatoes method of looking at various opinions and forming my own.
