Talk about a game that had too many versions in a short period of time. Was always a fan of Super Street Fighter 2. Always remember when I got it from Kay Bees for $20 on Genesis

Hyper Street Fighter II; the ability to play as previous iterations of the character roster was interesting, as well as having the CPS1, CPS2, and 3DO all together.

Straight up Street Fighter 2 Champion edition. I think after that my ability with the games downgraded really fast so my enjoyment of following editions suffered as well. Though I love being able to play as Hugo again its more "Fun for a couple of Matches" than beating the games all over.

The best is Hyper as it's the one with the most content. Everyone I knew back then liked Championship Edition but I always liked SUPER Street Fighter 2 more, mostly because Cammy was my main.

In terms of best I've got to agree, closely followed by HD Remix. However, the PS2 and 360 controllers absolutely suck for Street Fighter ( especially the PS2), so the version I play most is SF 2 Turbo on the SNES as I still consider the SNES controller to be the perfect SF controller.

It's kind of hard to pick since they all had their strengths and weaknesses. The original has the nostalgia edge. Championship edition was the one that got played the most. The New Challengers probably was the best, but the various Turbo and Hyper versions all had little tweaks that altered gameplay a little.
Since I cannot pick from the various arcade and home ports, I will instead go for the more obscure. Street Fighter II: The Pinball Game was the Smurfin' BOMB! It was easily one of my favorite pinball machines produced in the 90's. Most people probably have not seen one, but it was fun and challenging all the same.
