So I'm listening to a podcast (either Austin, Jericho or Ross, I think Ross) and they mentioned that Miz would be a great manager. They said Miz could potentially be next in line to replace Heyman if they let him do what he does. I started to think about it and while I don't know about comparing him to Heyman, I think Miz would be an amazing heel manager. He's good on the mic, he has that character and he's the type of guy you'd hate either winning or having his partner/superstar win a match. He's great for it. Same with being a commentator. I think he'd be great playing the heel from time to time color-wise.
Who else would be great as a manager or commentator in your eyes?

Miz honestly looked the part of a good manager for Naomi. It was funny cause the second Miz came out and started to cheer for her she started to have the upper hand in the match.

After his run with 3MB, I can see Hornswoggle as a good manager.
A smart-mouthed short guy whos mouth often writes checks that his ass can't cash. So he surrounds himself with muscle to do that for him.

Christian. With his ring career looking to be mostly over, this would be a good option for him.

Big Show. He gets a lot of crap for being supposedly stale (despite being very over), but the fact is there aren't many on the roster who know how to get a reaction from the fans, either as a face or heel better than he does. Also, when Show has done guest commentary he's always lucid and on point.

Mick Foley was good on commentary, would probably be good as a manager too actually. He could certainly talk for someone, but then his promo style is very much about his own feelings.

Hogan would be a fantastic manager and Id like to hear him commentating too.. if he could only put his ego to one side.
Foley.
Big Show.

Big Show would be good as a commentator.
Punk was good every time he was at the table.
Heyman needs to be back on commentary.
If they let JBL do his damn job......

CM Punk and Paul Heyman are fresh colorful faces to the commentary table that it so desperately needs. Also, I think Road Dogg would be good at it, too.

Raven - very good on the mic and one of the better workers in terms of understanding psychology and storytelling.
Jericho - great on the mic and willing to repackage himself
Edge - very entertaining and can work the crowd

I feel like Damien Sandow would do well in either position. The dude seems to run with anything they give him.

Punk, easily-- I'd like to see him return years down the line when Vince finally kicks the bucket in either role. Foley, to an extent. Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Jericho easily in either role. Also Sandow easily as a commentator, and as a manager with more experience. Vice versa, Bray would work well as a manager now, as a commentator with more development. Golddust, Cena as managers. Micheal Cole would work as a Jimmy Hart-esque manager. Undertaker would work for a very character-specific manager to someone, the same way Paul Bearer worked for him. Edge and Christian as commentating team- Christian on play by play and Edge on color- although they could be very fluent and fluid either way.
