Main Event
Cesaro and Tyson Kidd defeated Los Matadores. Cesaro and Kidd dominated most of the match and got the win with a powerbomb from Cesaro while Kidd performed a flip into a neckbreaker off the top rope.
Brie Bella beat Summer Rae. Brie hit her running knee and a missile dropkick for the win.
Big E defeated Stardust (w/Goldust). Stardust went to the ropes for the Beautiful Disaster kick, but Goldust accidentally knocked him off the ropes. Big E used the Big Ending to get the win.
Luke Harper beat Jack Swagger. Both men had lot of offense and near falls that the crowd was hot for. This was way better than anticipated. Swagger had Harper in the Patriot Lock. Swagger let go and got thrown out of ring. When he returned to the ring, Harper hit his clothesline and got the 1-2-3.
Smackdown
Hulk Hogan kicks off SmackDown to a big pop. He lets everyone know he's running SmackDown for the night. Seth Rollins interrupts and says Hogan is the reason he got into the business. Rollins then says Hogan doesn't deserve to be in the ring anymore because it's all about Rollins. Dolph Ziggler comes out to defend Hogan. Big Show comes out and threatens to knockout Ziggler and Hogan. Roman Reigns comes out next and Hogan makes Rollins and Show vs. Reigns and Ziggler for the main event.
Kane vs. Ryback starts slow until Rusev comes out for the distraction. Ryback knocks Rusev off the apron and avoids a chokeslam by Kane. Ryback hits Shellshocked for the win. After the match, Rusev and Kane beat down Ryback pretty bad.
Hulk Hogan confronts Rusev and says he will be defending the United States Title later tonight.
Naomi defeated Alicia Fox in a pretty quick match.
R-Truth vs. Adam Rose is up next. The Bunny did not come out and Rose didn't do his usual crowd surfing, he instead waved off the Rosebuds. Rose defeated Truth with his finisher.
Lana and Rusev come out for a promo. Dean Ambrose vs. Rusev for the United States Title is next. Bray Wyatt ends up interfering after a great match. They fight out of the ring and Ambrose tosses Wyatt over the announce table. Ambrose gets tossed into the timekeeper's area. Ambrose hits Wyatt with a steel chair and Bray goes into the ring. Ambrose fills the ring with steel chairs but Wyatt retreats.
The Miz vs. Jimmy Uso is next with their partners at ringside. The Miz tries to leave after getting beat up most of the match but Jimmy brings him back to the ring. Miz tries to shake hands but Jimmy hits two superkicks and a splash for the win.
Backstage promo from Stardust and Goldust.
Backstage segment with Hogan talking to Reigns and Ziggler.
Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns vs. Big Show and Seth Rollins was mostly back and forth until Rollins took control of Reigns and had him hurt. Ziggler finally got a hot tag after getting beat up and Reigns came back in to spear Rollins for the win. Ziggler and Reigns celebrated with fans at ringside to end the show.

Please tell me Hogan, while booking the tag match, called somebody "playa". Or that he ended the announcement with "holla holla".

So this Ambrose/Bray feud is still going on. It's only right for Ambrose to get the W at the Royal Rumble but considering the Royal Rumble match, Bray's future WM plans and whatever Ambrose will do, who knows.

Ambrose/Bray is still going...great... Ambrose does have to slay the Bray beast before he can be in the Mania main event against Rollins and Reigns.

Ziggler finally got a hot tag after getting beat up and Reigns came back in to spear Rollins for the win. Ziggler and Reigns celebrated with fans at ringside to end the show. My notes: Kidd and Cesaro looked great as a tag team with some combo offense easily jobbing out the bullfighters. Kidd got the pin. They need a huge push and should take the belts off the Usos - who will inevitably get them back once the Miz realizes Sandow is the popular one and they have a jealously split. Brie and Summer was sloppy. The crowd was fully behind Brie. According to a commercial promo, the Ascension will debut next week. Hooray. A great backstage promo by Big E and Woods with Renee Young was interrupted by the Dusts on a monitor. The crowd liked the New Day. Dissension from the Dusts!! Too big and noticeable to just shrug off. No Zeb Coluter with Swagger. Boo! Crowd was super hot (and patriotic) in a loud and clear voice with "USA" chants all match long. Harper seemed to be having a lot of fun. Swagger's hair looked completely goofy all match after an opening headlock. There surely was a bet to see how many times "Brother" could be used in the opening package during the classic "everyone interrupts everyone" interview segment. Must have been a nice orderly time in Gorilla position for this. Rollins got the biggest heat of the night running down the old Hulkster. Ryback straight SQUASHED Kane in 3 about minutes even with Rusev's attempted distraction. No fire pyro or any resemblance of a big red machine from Kane. Naomi wore light up neon green tennis shoes. Only one lit up after her first offensive maneuver (drop kick I wanna say?) and it stayed on all match. She won with a lovely Moonsault. During her victory celebration, there was a very fast clip of the Miz happily clapping while watching her on a backstage monitor. Don't know if anyone else even noticed this live as it cut off so fast. Some fans tried to start a "Where's the Bunny?" chant. Thankfully it died a quick death. Rose is the worst babyface ever. Rusev vs. Ambrose was easily the match of the night. Ambrose was the most over with the crowd as they ate up everything he did, especially the surprise of being the mystery opponent while cutting off Lana's promo. Many more "USA" chants. Even the DQ finish was pretty good. Bray literally came from out of nowhere - no one around me saw how we got to ringside. Mizdow's ringside mimicking stole the show again. Crowd was way more into the call-and-response of Truth's "What's Up" than they were the "Uuuss-Ooooh" Reigns pepped up the crowd while waiting for the hot tag and started a "Big Slow" chant that caught on. Noble and Mercury great at ringside as always. At least one caught a superkick on the outside from Dolph in the schmoz that lead to the finish. No post-main event dark match, just the faces celebrating as Dolph did a lap around the outside of the ring to high five fans and give hugs. Not many signs in the crowd. The few I saw were for Ziggler, Reigns and Ambrose.

Neville did defeat Tyler Breeze in a dark squash match. Breeze began an in-ring promo by awkwardly saying "Hello, everyone..." before finding his words and getting going while taking selfies on his phone.
Also, big pop for JBL. No response for Tom Phillips.

Seriously, if Ambrose gets beat again by Wyatt in the rubber match... ...he'll be just fine... barely, but people will call burial because that's what we do these days. Really, WrestleMania would be the big test after this for Ambrose. If he's either not in a notable match or doesn't win the match he'd be in otherwise, then he might be in some trouble.

It is concerning, though, that he hasn't gotten that "big" win since turning face.

Who got a bigger crowd reception Ziggler or Reigns? Dolph initially during the call out segment, but Reigns surprisingly before the actual match.
