Yeah me and my girlfriend did the same, mainly because we are gonna have a child of our own next year to spoil rotten!
I didn't get a whole lot this year but it was the best Christmas I've had since I was a kid.

i'd like to know what kind of lives people who post here live. With some of said gifts, how could yourself or anyone you know afford that many gifts? The total amount of the gifts i received comes out to about $90 I didn't get anything this year. Reason why? People died. Kinda hard to buy gifts when you're dead.... therefore nothing. Some people have large families, so people end up getting a lot of shit... but nobody in the family really put themselves out too much for their gift. Others have large families who go together to buy one large gift together for a person. There can be a lot of reasons, but it generally comes down to how many people are participating in christmas. The more participants, the more shit you might get.... the fewer participants, the less shit you'll get.

I've never been one to get a lot of gifts. Family had some awesome steak though . My brother got me a duffle bag and a Spider-Man hoodie. Not sure what some of my other relatives got me, if anything, but I don't really care about that. I did get my brother something pretty cool though: He's a big Crow mark.

I got some t-shirts, a lot of puzzles, and my cousin bought me a makeup set , that I had been looking for. I have a huge family, and I love giving them gifts, so throughout the year, I will buy things for them and put them away until Christmas

No family and no friends guarantees I get nothing for Christmas and/or birthdays regularly.
My wife and I don't exchange presents anymore, as we just do things for each other regularly. We focus on getting stuff for the kid.

A Superior Bathrobe. (From my secret Santa. My old robe was getting worn out) A Gap Sweatshirt. An And 1 Tracksuit. A pair of winter gloves. A bag of Mini Ghiradelli caramel chocolates. A Dove Men's bathset. (Shampoo, body wash, deodorant, and face wash.) A Logitech GS100 Gaming Mouse. $500. ($40 from my uncle $100 from my mom, $100 from my step dad, $160 from my dad, and $100 from another uncle.)
Gonna use the latter to upgrade my PC. That's been long overdue.

I honestly didn't get anything I wanted this year. I guess that sounds brat-ish and ungrateful, but it was pretty 'meh' on the gift front. I guess the coolest thing I got was Guardians of the Galaxy on blu-ray. Years like this happen, so it's whatever.
We're doing 'Christmas' with my fiancee's family tomorrow. I've been informed I'm getting a waffle maker. I don't cook and I don't really like waffles, so now I have to act surprised and happy. I guess I can iron out the act tonight in front of the mirror.
I got my mom, fiancee, and dad gifts they really wanted, so it was pretty awesome seeing their faces. That made it all worth it, I suppose it.

- A pair of Beats by Dre
- A pair of really nice Uggs (not like women's ones, but a pair of men's leather boots)
- Two bottles of Chanel Bleu (GF and my mom got me the same cologne, but I really like it, so I'm keeping both)
- A few shirts from J. Crew
- Various gift cards (supermarkets, Subway, etc.)
- A shockingly expensive pillow (GF accidentally left the shipping receipt in the box)
- A couple of Mitchell + Ness snapbacks.
All in all, a fine haul.
