It's easy to forget how ridiculously over they were for their entire WWF tenure. Not to mention that they were great at serving their purpose, which was to get other teams over/ready for the tag title scene.

I'm fine with the Bushwhackers going in. It was pretty common during their era to work a more physical style with more serious gimmicks and then go to WWE and make your money working a safer style and becoming more of a character. You can say similar things about Hall of Famers Greg Valentine, Jim Duggan, and Ted DiBiase, though it's not a perfect comparison. I think there were teams who had more distinguished careers who drew more money, but I'm not going to take away from Luke and Butch. Good for them.

The Bushwhackers' induction also fills out two more Survivor Series teams that now have all its members in: the 1989 Roddy's Rowdies (with Piper and Snuka) and the 1990 Alliance (with Volkoff and Tito). The 1991 team with the Rockers now has 3 of 4 members, with everyone but Jannetty inducted. Well now we know who the Jannetty of that 91 Survivor Series team was.

It's either because WWE thinks they have enough inductees going in this year or else they freaked out again over having more than one posthumous induction. Damn them.

They have to be careful holding off this induction due to Patterson's age. It won't be the same without Patterson inducting him. This was the time and place to induct Stevens.

I was disappointed this wasn't mentioned or shown in their induction video.

Just received an email from WWE Network saying that every Hall of Fame ceremony will be uploaded on March 1st. Hopefully they include 1994-1996 ceremonies too. The 2004 ceremony was released on its own DVD, and from 2005 it's been part of the WrestleMania DVD/Bluray package.

It's either because WWE thinks they have enough inductees going in this year or else they freaked out again over having more than one posthumous induction. Damn them. If this report does turn out to be accurate, then I would very highly doubt that WWE will ever induct Ray "The Crippler" Stevens into the WWE Hall of Fame at any point in the future. 2015 was the perfect year for WWE to induct him into their Hall of Fame due to WrestleMania 31 taking place very near San Francisco, California in nearby Santa Clara. I started watching WWF in 1987 and I still haven't ever seen any of his matches, but I would still be extremely disappointed if WWE doesn't induct him into their Hall of Fame this year. I read somewhere online earlier this year (I don't remember where) that his children still live in California. I would think that his children would have loved it if their father had gotten inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. The vast majority of current WWE fans that are 30 years old or younger probably haven't even seen any of Ray Stevens' matches and a very large number of them probably have no idea who he even is. It's so very unfortunate that WWE still hasn't inducted into their Hall of Fame a large amount of high profile deceased wrestling legends that are very worthy and deserving of being inducted into their Hall of Fame. One of the many reasons why Ray Stevens is so very deserving of an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame is for his performances and hard bumping style that inspired generations of heel wrestlers who have attempted to emulate his ability to provide high quality and heat generating matches that continuously bring in huge crowds of fans. Some of the other reasons why he deserves to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame is for him being such a huge draw in San Francisco for many years and him being such a big reason why professional wrestling was so hugely popular in San Francisco throughout the 1960's. If he somehow ever gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, then it should be Pat Patterson that inducts him.

I could see DDP going in if he is well enough to attend the ceremony and his Jake The Snake doc is getting good reviews. The only diva I could see maybe going in as a looooooong shot is Sable. She is married to Brock and was pretty over during the Attitude Era.

Honestly even the patriotic New Zealander in me must ask seriously they are going induct the freaking bushwhackers in the HOF as that is a lame duck induction if there ever was one.

The patriotic New Zealander in me has decided to look at the HOF from the perspective of a normal wrestling show now. Every show needs curtain jerkers (Bushwackers, Koko, Volkoff), midcarders (Rikishi, Razor, Valentine) and main eventers (Hogan, Flair and Scicluna, obviously)

They really should have given this slot to Demolition, it would be a stronger line up that way. But perhaps the fact I heard Butch was in poor health is the reason behind it.
I'm surprised with the Madusa rumours as the Monster Jam World Finals is on the 28th and 29th March in Las Vegas, the HOF is on the 28th in CA, she is always in the finals, unless she was eliminated (which suprises me) or she got the call and withdrew from the competition, the fact she has ignored all posts about it on her FB & Twitter leads me to believe its true or she would have shot it down, I means shes won the finals before, but shes never going to get another HOF call if she turns it down and its 20 years since she dumped the belt also.
If Stevens isnt going in, they need more names. To be fair they could do with a stronger name and if they were willing to induct another post humous inductee as well as Savage then my pick to replace Stevens would be Rick Rude
I would also replace Fujinami with The Great Muta, but he is fine as he is.
- Randy Savage - Kevin Nash - Rick Rude - Rikishi - The Bushwackers - Madusa - Tatsumi Fujinami - Arnold Swartznegger
That feels like a strong enough line up.

On another note, I get the Rikishi hate that some people have given - but then I thought about it, and thats WWE's fault for that, as per usual displaying his career as Rikiski and Rikishi only the fat dancer in his video, people are forgetting his run previous too this too, granted the Sultan and MADF hardly lit the world alight but he had successful runs with Samu in the WWF, WCW and more. I hate that WWE feature only the WWE work nowadays in the video packages and forget everything else.

If it's Madusa it's well deserved. Plus my favourite female and male competitor (Savage) in the same class.

What name will she go in under? That's the key. This seems to be a 1994 New Generation Heavy Class if all the names rumored are true. Maybe Kwang gets in soon.
