For me it was 2008. I can't remember being disappointed at all that year!

Man, probably as far back as 2000. 2002, 2003, and 2009 were amazing years for SmackDown, but RAW was complete shit.

2011 was the last year I loved more things than I hated.

Honestly, every year. Yeah things can be bad, annoying, boring..but that happens every year, it's the good stuff that inevitably comes along that keeps me watching, as does the dumb stuff I can laugh at. If I didn't love Double Double E I'd just quit watching. Probably never going to happen, though. I'm a lifer.

I actually liked last year alright, though it was getting a little harder towards the end. ADR/Ricardo as faces was fun for awhile, I liked Punk's feud with Brock, 3MB, The Shield, the Wyatt Family.
... Rereading this post, it just re-enforces why I'm so "meh" towards this year.

Best time most recently was mid 2013 with Bryan and The Shield firing on all cylinders.

from 2011- mid 2013, 2014 had some moments here and there but nothing that really recaptured my interest

2014. If I didn't enjoy it, I wouldn't watch.

2013 was fun and exciting, watching the Daniel Bryan drama and the rise of the SHIELD. This year with Bryan being gone most of the time, and Reigns missing half the time, it's still been fun but it's been the "Rollins and Friends Hours ft. John Cena And Special Guest - No World Champion".
With Reigns back, things are looking up, especially if Bryan comes back too in 2015.

The last year I have more good to say about than bad I think is 2010, before that, like, 2004. And a lot of it doesn't work in retrospect.

What year was it when Daniel Bryan choked someone with a camera wire or something? I think that was the last show I watched that I enjoyed. I just stopped watching after that, not due to the quality of writing or performances, I just couldn't suspend my disbelief as well.

2014. Seriously, I think this year has been great outside of the dead months between Summerslam and Survivor Series.

Give or take a few days, but I'd say from Backlash '08 to Backlash '09.

2010 was the last year I dug from start to finish, and also the first year I really watched since 2000. There might've been stuff I didn't really care for (Husky and McGillicuddy join and water down Nexus with shitty people), but I was engaged the whole time and always looked forward to seeing those great Christian matches.
2011 was a year of highs (Christian wins the title, The Rock comes back, CM Punk's BITW stuff, Grotesque Cody Rhodes) and lows (Walkout, CFO HHH, Christian loses the title to Orton who has a stupid beard, HHH on every show there at the end, The Miz's main event run, Sheamus losing streak, HHH NOT DISAPPEARING LIKE I THOUGHT I WAS PROMISED HE WOULD, New Nexus being exclusively shitty people).
2012's bright spots included Big Johnny and Brock Lesnar, who of course were no match for the gruesome twosome of Raw is AJ and 3 Hour Raws. Other things that took the fun out were terrible babyface CM Punk, terrible babyface Sheamus, Christian being injured, Sheamus winning streak, waste of Bryan in Team Hell No because of course f***ing Kane has to have something to do, a Brock Lesnar match being wasted on HHH, Ryback being given up on, Orton just sort of does nothing.
2013 had cool stuff like fun heel CM Punk, Punk/Lesnar, awesome Punk/Cena Raw match, great RVD/Del Rio match at NOC, great Cesaro/Kofi match on Main Event, but was another year of shit between 3 hour Raws, Cena wins the Royal Rumble, The Authority, terrible repetitive segments with the roster on stage like Team Goofball, The Authority, indy douchebag Daniel Bryan in the Cena feud, seeing the same repetitive mediocre Shield Hell No match every week for like 50 weeks, whatever Bray Wyatt does in a wrestling ring, The Authority.
2014 had HHH and Stephanie on nearly every single Raw. Things move in the direction from rather insular toward very insular with the WWE Network. Just f*** 2014.
