Loved it. This article describes exactly why I think internet fans who bitch constantly are totally missing the point.

Loved it. This article describes exactly why I think internet fans who bitch constantly are totally missing the point. That seems like a pretty needless potshot just to start a fight. Particularly when it's about a story most people here liked and got invested in anyway. Anyway, yeah. Sweet story there, though sounds like a kid a lot younger than ten.

I can't picture Dolph doing stuff with young fans. Like, I picture him going into a Make a Wish kid's hospital room, shaking his ass and hitting on the nurses. "I know you're being so brave, Timmy, and we're all proud of you. It's a real struggle. Not as big a struggle as I'm going to have deciding which three nurses to bring back to my hotel room, but I'm in a rental and there isn't a lot of room."

I love the different perspectives that a young child can bring. To most of us, John Cena putting up a fight against Brock Lesnar in his Night Of Champions rematch after being crushed at SummerSlam was ridiculous. To a young child, it was probably the most awesome thing ever.

Sweet little story but it would be hilarious if his son asked "Who the hell is that?" when Sting appeared.

Dolph is really cool. He was awesome when I met him. I would love to meet Show, too. I've been a fan of his since WCW

It's rare when a story involving the Big Show has someone crying, and that person isn't Show.

I read the title and genuinely thought it was about the guy in the crowd on Smackdown with the "Dolph please sign my son's belt" sign. Dolph breezed past him like he wasn't even there.

Jeez, I guess my comment struck a nerve? Either way, I enjoyed the article and I felt young again watching the Survivor Series main event.

Yeah, I think if I ever have a kid who's into wrestling, it'd bring me back around. A guy at work got back into when his kids became fans, he's enjoying it through his kids, who are about the age of the kid in the article.

The kid started crying because Big Show was crying after watching an emotional Rugrats episode. It was infectious and the kid followed suit.

That kid was crying because he was thinking about how poorly Ziggler's been pushed despite putting on the best matches of the night. hah!
Thinking back, I can't remember ever crying over wrestling. I watched it ever since I can remember, but nothing ever made me cry. I was always entertained and enthralled by stuff, but never actually came to tears over it. The most emotional I've seen someone get over wrestling is when my girlfriend got REALLY pissed off over what was happening to D-Bry when HHH pedigreed him after he won the title from Cena and even more so with how they booked him up until WM.
