With that one promo he made all of Punk's allegations against him look like bullshit.

It was nice to get some background on one of the many characters that have absolutely no development whatsoever.
However, I feel like it could potentially mean nothing, if all it leads to is another dude passing out in the Accolade at the Rumble or something.
Even then, it just came out of nowhere, and I almost wish they had saved it for a Network special where I could really learn about the dude.

That promo had me thinking that he should and could win the Rumble which was probably their intention so they can make Reigns or Bryan winning less predictable. It's a shame too cause Ryback/Lesnar would be legit.
Everyone really does love the big guy (even the people backstage?) so he'll most likely be highlighted at Wrestlemania without being in the main event. Ryback/Harper would be f***ing money.

Does anyone else get the feeling that they're going to stall this one out a bit? Maybe a double count out at the Rumble, some other non-finish at the next PPV (I actually forgot its name. Fast Lane? Pit Stop?) and then finally Ryback getting the W at WM.

Sorry. Punk doesn't like Ryback so that means I'm not allowed

It was a good segment other than that bit where he mentioned "The Secret" which made him sound like some bored housewife in Oprah's Book Club.

It was pretty damn awesome. Gross-ass scar on his leg though. I don't care what anyone says, I love DA BIG GUY!

With that one promo he made all of Punk's allegations against him look like bullshit. To be fair even in the Podcast it didn't sound like Punk hated Ryback, Ryback just f***ed up with him one too many times when he was greener, and Punk got very agitated by it. It's not like Ryback ever seemed to try and hurt Punk, just seemed like unfortunate circumstance and Punk took it seriously
As Ryback said, he is "Dumb as F***" and to me, that just shows he had some bad luck with Punk, not the right opponent for him, hurt both guys really, Punk more literally...

I'm a fan of Ryback anyway but I've always found the real-life guy to be incredibly likeable. I'm really rooting for him.

The segment was ok, but I would prefer segments like these be done over 4 weeks as pre-taped packages and then on Raw, you do a squash match with Ryback. Next week, Ryback does a run in if Rusev is assaulting someone pretty badly, and before that, you have another segment. Like, I felt they TNA'd that whole promo, where you could have used that promo for 4 weeks of vignettes, building up Ryback's personality.
But yeah, Ryback it's negative and shits positive.

WWE either go all out or do nothing at all. It didn't have to be that long, and I hated the 'WHAT' chants, but it gave him needed focus after they slipped on his initial return.
I liked all the talking last night actually.

It did stall out a bit, but I can overlook it because at the very least they're seemingly trying to develop some character depth

Funny that they actually decided to point out that he was on Tough Enough.
And officially state that he was Skip Sheffield instead of kinda half mentioning he was in the Nexus
