Regarding the Battle Royale and Wrestlemania

Am I imagining things or was the battle royale meant to become an annual thing? I can't see anything anywhere, but could've sworn it was a thing.

Although I certainly don't mind them doing the Wrestlemania pre-show battle royals more often again...

I'm sure it was described as the 'inaugural' memorial battle royal, assuming there are more to come. But then again, it could have just been given that to hype it up as a new achievement to go for in WWE, and it was always intended to be used as a plot device to break up Cesaro and Swagger.

I quite enjoyed the match so wouldn't mind it returning in some way, though normally I'd rather more individual matches than throw everyone together into a battle royal (unless its preshow). I know it was named the Andre due to his battle royal notoriety but it would be interesting if they honoured a different legend every year (i.e. Warrior), or the headlining Hall of Famer that year (would have to do away with calling it a 'Memorial Battle Royal' though lol). Have them sit at ringside, present the trophy to the winner, photo op or heel/face turn potential.

I'd be in favor of it returning as part of the pre-show or even the opening match. I'm a big proponent of fewer belts and more non-titles as a way of building up stars, so the Andre trophy is fine by me. But if what happened with Cesaro is any indication of what would come, then leave it buried.
