Like thirty bucks; The last time (one of the only times) I went to the casino I took a hundred bucks. Out of that hundred I lost the aforementioned thirty. Then I sat down at a blackjack table that was a ten dollar table limit and decided to bet another thirty. I parlayed that into over seven hundred and then cashed it out.
That was a Friday night; and we stayed all weekend, but I never went down to the casino the rest of trip. Just kept my seven hundred in winnings.

about $60 on a trip up to Saratoga. I know nothing about horses other than to bet on a Pletcher/Valesquez horse. But always have fun anyway and like others have said go into expecting to lose so it doesn't bother me.

$20 and most of that was from going on my birthday and being given freeplay money. I'll sometimes play one of those branded (Bejeweled, Monopoly, Wheel of Fortune) video slots, but I mostly stick to the penny slots. I did almost win $25,000 on a Wheel of Fortune bonus spin though, which was pretty exciting/disappointing.

Back when I was single I may have gone through about $500 in a weekend in Vegas. Now that I am married with kids, I never let myself go down more that $100 before I quit.

I've made and lost $2,000 playing Bacarrat in about 3 hours. Otherwise my loss limit per session is about $400.

My friend and I split an entire pack of scratch off tickets ($300) that we only won $150 back so I guess $75. I did get it back from the TN lotto on Mega Millions where I played the LOST numbers. Never been to a casino or anything.

$20 on a penny slot. I kept on doing minimum bet, so it was like a good two hours of entertainment. One time I put in $20, and I won $25. Cashed out and never looked back Pretty much how I bet. What's your secret to staying on for two hours though The secret is to win a little, and play it all off. Nothing major though, like winning 5 or 10 credits at a time. This is how I stayed sane while killing time at the casino my mom worked at waiting for her to get done in the office

£6 on the lottery.
I don't throw away large amounts of money for no reason. I think it's the most pretentious and ludicrous activity going.

If I lost $5 with nothing to show for it, I'd be sick about it.

A hundred bucks on a single bet, maybe three hundred during an entire poker night.

Reading the responses yeah I'm definitely in the minority when it comes to this. I used to have a big problem with it. Hadn't made a bet in 2 years before this week. All worked out Colts covered and I walked out good after a week of a comp suite and all the food and drinks I could stomach. Can't beat that. Had they not though yeah I would've been pretty f**ked for a while and had to go on a budget.

Like $20.
I've encouraged others to lose a few hundred though, that was fun.

Humble Brag Alert: I was in Las Vegas last year (big deal for me.. I live in Australia) and I did not win any amount higher then $2.. Think I only gambled away about $100 though. Yeah I was just there for Penn & Teller, buffets, and the lights

I bought a 5 quid scratch card once and only won 2 quid back, it was devastating.
Gambling isn't really for me.
