He was on a fast train to no where in TNA. In WWE, Vince loves him and has kept him on well past his sell by date, even letting him main event a show with John Cena (twice) and the Rock in his return match. You can bitch about Lil'Jimmy all ya want but he got far more out of his second WWE run than he would have ever got out of TNA.

Not in current tna, but Truth was way better off in tna during the early years. If there was no tna, most likely there might not have been the current incarnation of him that we saw in wwe.

He would been gone already from the company. If it wasn't for TNA signing Pac-Man Jones needed someone Black for him to team up with, Killings was already one foot out of the door. Hell, TNA doesn't want to remember him because whenever they do video packages, he is noticeable absent. Way better to be known for Little Jimmy than that 3 Live Kru shit or Team Pac-Man.

They had him teaming with Pacman by the end. He was done in TNA.

Yeah, Killings was basically done after 2006.
He had already peaked in the company, and would have just been overlooked in favor of the latest WWE cast-off.

Heel R-Truth and Awesome-Truth was some of the best writing and character development in recent years from WWE. Along with Vince loving him, it probably extended his WWE career by a minimum of 5 extra years. The sad part is how his early run in TNA has been completely erased from TNA history.

The highlight of R-Truth's WWE career arguably was him randomly exploding on the Raw stage only to be perfectly fine like a week later.
So no, no he wasn't.

Considering he was trying to actively get out of his contract near the end, I can't imagine he wanted to stay, or that it would have been a positive for him in anyway.

He got some big matches with The Rock and John Cena. He got to do explore some odd things he came up with like Pretty Ricky and Little Jimmy. He made more money. He got some midcard title runs and a tag team title run. I am sure he would not have had the same fun, nor the pay, if he had stayed in TNA.

No one's better off in TNA Arguably Derrick Bateman/ECIII and Lance Hoyt, but that's like pretty much it.

For someone that Vince likes, he sure isn't booked like it. I mean, Truth isn't a "jobber", but he's barely ever on TV.

Random Note: R Truth is one of those wrestlers that's almost always out in the "public scene". Basically if there's a PR thing there's a good chance he's one of the wrestlers there
