Imagine John Cena finally being driven to the brink by the Authority's actions. Imagine this scenario playing out:
One by one he takes out the Authority's flunkies: J&J Security, Kane, even Big Show. Triple H, Stephanie, and Seth Rollins find them unconscious backstage, with one of Cena's baseball caps over the face of each body being the only clue as to their assailant. Oh, and the walls in the rooms of the attacks are spraypainted with "HUSTLE" over J&J Security, "LOYALTY" over Big Show, and "RESPECT" over Kane.
Triple H, Stephanie, and Seth Rollins march to the ring and demand that Cena answer for his actions. Then the arena goes dark! A static-y Titantron video airs and you can hear the trumpets of Cena's theme song play though they sound distorted. Cena's voice from the song echoes through the arena over and over again. "YOUR TIME IS UP!" "MY TIME IS NOW!"
The lights come back on and Stephanie screams as Triple H is laid out cold with his own trusty sledgehammer on top of his limp, motionless body. Seth Rollins desperately runs around and under the ring for Cena while Stephanie tends to her beaten and broken husband. But as Seth Rollins searches underneath the ring, a fan in an Erick Rowan sheep mask climbs over the barrier, ambushes him, and knocks him out. The "fan" takes off his mask and reveals a demented looking Cena underneath. He has a five o'clock shadow and crazy eyes with black bags underneath them suggesting a lack of sleep and shaving. He then does the "You can't see me!" gesture to Rollins, a time when that catchphrase has never been more true.
He climbs into the ring, and handcuffs a screaming Stephanie to the turnbuckle, followed by handcuffing a still unconscious Triple H to the same turnbuckle. "Wakey, wakey!" he yells at Triple H as he douses him with a bottle of water. Triple H regains consciousness, realizes the situation and tries in vain to lash out at Cena. Cena watches the COO's attempts to attack him and laughs. "Now," he says with that shit-eating grin he has in happier times. "Watch as I end your future!" He grabs Seth Rollins' MITB briefcase and proceeds to beat him mercilessly within an inch of his life. Does everything he can to wreck him. Throws him into the steps. smother his face into the turnbuckle, makes him don the crimson mask (this part will be black & white on replays). The refs are too scared to come out to try and defuse the situation, unwilling to face Cena's wrath. Any security guards that come out get knocked out by the crazed Cena. Kane, J&J, and Big Show were already taken to the local hospital by EMT's.
The carnage finally ends with Cena AA-ing Rollins through the announcers' table. A triumphant Cena stands over the bloodied body of Rollins while Stephanie and Triple H panic in the background. There are splotches of Seth's blood on Cena's face, smiling at the camera looking all deranged, as his theme song plays.
