That was a roller coaster of a show. I was hooked for the whole 13 episodes. By the end, there were at least three things that I didn't end up liking, but they are not enough to counter all the things I did like. For those interested, the three things I didn't like: {Spoiler} 1) Killing Ben Urich - This was a mistake. His death didn't add anything to the story and, considering the characters connections to Jessica Jones, and wider to Spider-Man, just took away a really good supporting bridging connecting. Plus, Vondie Curtis Hall played the character so well. A shame he died.
2) Kingpin was made to be a bit too overly emotional. The guy is meant to be a master planner, but he definitely comes across as what Leyland and Gao felt he was - unstable. Played amazingly, but not really The Kingpin, but then I guess they are building him up and the relationship with Vanessa was perfect.
3) Killing off Bob Gunton's Leland Owlsley. Gunton was so entertaining to watch every time he appeared. Seems clear they are going to set up his son to come in as The Owl, but still, Gunton was just so good his death was another loss to the show, and only exacerbated point two above.

What happened to Rosario Dawson? Did I miss where she was for like the last 4 eps or did she really just stop showing up?

{Spoiler}It's also nice to know that even if you look like a shrunken King Kong Bundy, and occasionally decapitate Russians with your car door, you can still date attractive art dealers.[/spoilers]

If she tries to defend it as an act of passion to save your mom, refute and say you didn't it because you wanted to. It will impress her even more.

Did you finish the series? Yeah, the last mention of her I remember was in episode 9 {Spoiler}She is mentioned in Episode 10, Nelson v. Murdock as the one who patched up Matt.
She appears in Episode 11, The Path of the Righteous resewing one of Matt's wounds and tells him she is getting out of the city for a while.

Did you finish the series? Yeah, the last mention of her I remember was in episode 9 She is a huge character in the Luke Cage comics so I assumed that she was a mere tie in and would reemerge in that show.

Just finished the episode with Fisk's origin story of sorts, thought it was really well done.
Didn't realise Charlie Cox was English though. Well, until he asked someone if they wanted a Latte and his accent slipped a bit!

I wasn't blown away by the first episode, but I did like it, but my love for the show really grew with the 2nd episode and it only went up from there. D'Onofrio as Kingpin is just fantastic to watch. He's the villain you deep down want to see get away with it. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Not sure if I need to label this as a spoiler, but I might as well just to be safe. I didn't really like Stick nor the episode he was featured in. I'm all for abrasive characters, but he was too much of a dick to be interested in. I also felt the episode was too secretive. What was Black Sky? Why was the kid in the container? What was the actual danger he posed? This was a major point of the episode and it was just brushed aside and the kid killed off screen. We never got a real explanation about it and that was frustrating. But one blip in a 13 episode series is worth it because the great far exceeded any negativity.

Finished episode three, more minor nitpicks - {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I have no idea what bowling alley that's supposed to be or where it is. There is one in Hell's Kitchen called Lucky Strike but the inside looks absolutely nothing like the inside of the bowling alley seen in the episode. There are two other bowling alley's in Manhattan ( Bowlmor's in Times Square and Chelsea) and they also look nothing like that bowling alley. They all have this neon, chic, nightclub look going for them that just happen to include bowling lanes. You'd probably have to go to Staten Island or Queens to find a "traditional" bowling alley like the one seen in this episode. Of course if this happened in Staten Island or Queens then the guy wouldn't have been brought to trial in Manhattan. There is also no Precinct 15 in New York City. What the hell is wrong with Foggy? A guy walks into your office, won't give you his name, won't tell you what kind of business the people he represents are in, insults your secretary, then offers you a boatload of money to defend an obvious sociopath and you don't realize the whole thing is pretty damn shady until almost midway through the episode? If I didn't know the source material I would think Foggy was gonna go all Grant Ward on Matt by the end of the season. They really need to tighten up the fight scenes. I understand what they're going for, a more realistic gritty and violent feel, but they just last too long and you kinda lose interest in them as they go. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing to be halfway through a fight and start thinking "can you guys just wrap this up so we can get back to the actual story".

So, and I think I can ask this without spoiler tags, what is the marquee moment for Daredevil?
Hallway fight? Spike to the head? Car door? First time we see the suit?

Well, Kingpin's childhood got dark. I haven't gotten to that episode yet. Does this version abandon Kingpin to the police because he was too fat to climb up a fire escape while fleeing from a heist like in the old Spider-Man cartoon?

So in a bout of insomnia I finished episode four. No nitpicks, but a few observations - {Spoiler}I looked up what Zuppa Inglese is. It looks like one of those hot dog cakes Marge Simpson used to make. I wonder if we should consider it a sandwich?Wilson's wooing of Vanessa actually reminds me a lot of Anakin and Padme from the Prequels. Just his awkward attempts at creepy dialogue that she for some reason finds endearing. I'm guessing it's more intentional this time around.
