Watched the series over three days. Loved it. But if I had to criticise one thing: {Spoiler}After all the stuff done in vein to try and take Fisk down.. It all came down to Murdock just happening to over hear about a potential witness being hidden somewhere in the final episode.
Sorry I just thought that some shithouse writing. As in the writer was probably on the shitter while trying to figure out how to get to that point.

Wife and I have only seen the first ep so far but we both loved it. We don't have a lot of time to watch it together, but we should make it through the whole thing within a week or so.

I would've liked more courtroom stuff but it's still an awesome show (VERY surprised at how graphic it is)
Another point in in my Comics as TV shows over movies.

So I'm watching episode 10 now and I have to ask, how long does it take to become a lawyer? In that flashback scene where Foggy and Matt first meet, the computer says that Foggy is signing up for the Fall 2010 semester. But something like Intro to Punjab seems like it would be a first or second year Undergrad course. Can you go from college sophomore to passing the bar in four and a half years?
Also 2010 would be long past the heyday of "Drops of Jupiter" which was playing in the background of their meeting. Oh well, at least it was something vaguely contemporary and not like Van Halen or something.

Just watched the whole series, and I liked it. Some good, some bad, some great moments.
Two unrelated notes, dat fight in episode two was incredible and Madam Gao is clearly from K'un L'un.

Kingpin keeps making me think of Tor Johnson when he freaks out.

I hope we get Bullseye in season 2.
To be fair I'm not a DD reader so him & Kingpin are the only villains of his I know

I hope we get Bullseye in season 2. To be fair I'm not a DD reader so him & Kingpin are the only villains of his I know To be fair I think those are the only villains anybody who's written his comics in the last 20 years have cared about. Yes I know other villains have made appearances in Daredevil over those years, but any appearances they've made have all either been them being pawns for someone bigger or some forgettable side quest just to kill time before the real story starts. I can't think of the last time someone like the Jester has had an entire story arc devoted to just him. If it's not Kingpen or Bullseye then it's usually either another generic mobster that'll be killed off in his next appearance (and usually associated with Kingpen somehow anyways) and occasionally a mystical ninja associated The Hand that'll also be lucky to survive their first appearance. So yeah, outside of maybe Bullseye don't expect to see too many costumed villains in Daredevil season two (although the MCU seems to be avoiding this in general).

As near as I can tell Surgeon General's only appearance was in those two issues of Daredevil from the early 90's that Linkara trashed. She's not even listed as one of Daredevil's villains on Wikipedia and they have Leap-Frog listed. I highly doubt anybody involved with the Daredevil show or character in any capacity is in any way interested in reviving her. Although I supposed to could be reworked into something more feasible - a Doctor involved in a black market organ stealing/selling operation that Daredevil comes across?

It wasn't "Atop the fourth wall", it might've been on a different message board. A organ harvesting story would make a decent 2 parter

Watching episode 12; Gao deals in heroin called 'Steel Serpent', she overpowered DD, and she lives a considerable distance further than China. Holy shit, Gao is From K'un Lun!

I wonder if they can find a way to tie K'un Lun into Afterlife. I know it might be an awkward fit but no more awkward then explaining why there are so many secret cities in the MCU.

Jesus I heard the show was good but I didn't expect it to be that good. That was one of the best first seasons I ever seen in a show and I have feeling we're on our way of a show that could possibly be considered to be one of the greatest shows of all time. Everything about the show was so good like wow. I haven't read a Daredevil comic or seen the movie but Jesus I love how it seemed like nobody and I mean nobody felt safe to be killed off.

Comixology and Marvel.com are having a huge Daredevil sale right now. Lots of great stuff for 5 bucks each. It is all great stuff, I personally recommend the Waid books, but if you are coming off a high from the show go for Miller and Bendis's work which are closer tonally to the show than Waid.. www.comixology.com/comics-sale?list_id=6118&lang=Otherwise I just finished the show. Need some time to collect my thoughts, but anything to do with K'un L'un gets me hyped. I cannot bear the likely 3 year wait for Iron Fist.
