Really? Wow...I had some ups and downs with him, to say the least. But it's never pleasant to hear about death, especially young death, and especially in this business.

Well now he can truly live his gimmick.
Joking aside, always tragic to see a guy pass away at a fairly young age. He was undoubtedly one of the most memorable things the WWE ECW Revival ever gave us.

He certainly was the most memorable opponents of the Sandman vs. Sports Entertainment storyline they had going on RIP.

He will be remembered as a true poet. RIP.

It never made much sense to me.
Why a zombie? What did that have to do with anything?

It never made much sense to me. Why a zombie? What did that have to do with anything? So Sandman could cane the crap out of it. To continue the thing started from ECW One Night Stand 2 and try and make an air of this isn't sports entertainment this is ECW. Specifically a Zombie? To make fun of it being on Scifi/the news at the time that sci fi would demand more science fiction gimmicks on the show.

38 is way too young to go, and it's especially sad that he's left a son.

I liked the Zombie. I wish WWE had more enhancement talent of that magnitude. It's at least a cheap gimmick the fans could get behind in one way or another and get a response when a superstar beats them quickly.
It's too bad he died so young.

He should have been an alien instead. An alien was the original plan for ECW's first broadcast, believe it or not! Tommy Dreamer told WWE Magazine that the company wanted Sandman to beat up a Martian as a way of poking fun at being on the Sci Fi Channel. But network execs nixed the idea, which is why we got a zombie instead.

Condolences to his friends and family. To go at such a young age is very sad and unfortunate.
