That sounds like straight disbelief from the "Top TNA Executive." Like a "No way...you just read that wrong, right?" statement.

Except Meltzer, tvbythenumbers and another similar tv ratings-dedicated website have all been reporting 359000 total viewers for the 9pm-11:03PM timeslot (so Impact's first run, replay excluded), which neither matches Keller's 263000 total first-run viewers, nor his first-run + replay numbers. And given that Keller's rating reporting & breakdown can sometimes be simply out of whack (for instance, the Lucha Underground reports from the first couple of weeks make no sense, with Keller proudly mixing up demos #s with total viewership #s, claiming 8000 viewers in week 1 when it was 8000 viewers 18-49, & 18000-20000 total, and then claiming total viewership had tripled in week 2 with 29000 total viewers and an impossible 21000 demo score) I'll go with the other three until Dest America & TNA issue some sort of press release. Then we'll be able to better judge if Keller's right or not.

Attack on Titan, DBZ Kai, Inuyasha, and other shows that air tonight on Toonami midnight and later are getting over a million viewers.
What's TNA getting? Less than a fourth of that.

Looking around at other boards you find schumcks who actually believe that's a good number and patting themselves on the back.
WAKE UP!! Your ratings are on par and lower than what you got during TNA's time on FSN. This isn't a good number, this is a number that gets beaten by Seinfield and M*A*S*H reruns

Was watching all the Discovery Media's family of channels and their reach are about in the same range as Destination America so it's not like there are any alternatives.
Spike was in 100 million households. Destination America is in 56 million households.
Others in the Discovery Family that gets a great reach are TLC and Animal Planet with about in 97 millions households each but you cannot put wrestling there(unless you turn Eric Young into the fisherman version of Steve Erwin).
After that there's the Discovery Channel itself that is in 98 million homes. Dixie should think about getting on the place. lol
But TNA is definitely a far smaller company right now. The positive is that Discovery Media doesn't much care, they have what they wanted. But if I were TNA, I would probably have taken a smaller deal at Spike yet being able to do other things elsewhere.

I think it's fair to say that they can and do put whatever the hell they want on TLC at this point.

It used to be a utility network then it became a women network, now they put about as much anything, the shows don't even have a common theme to exist. That's it! We have found a solution for Dixie.

Well, TNA just got an ad for their Friday night debut in the middle of the Mythbusters' Simpsons Special. But Destination America did nothing to promote TNA. Destination America is owned by Discovery and they aired an ad for Impact in the middle of their most watched shows on their most watched network. That is pretty big for TNA. Throw History and H2 in the list of channels airing ads. That would have been bought by Discovery since History and H2 are not owned by them.

This spat with the Torch is pretty funny, though.

And people dared call me insane for saying TNA would be lucky to break 300k. You cannot move networks without taking a hit, especially when it is to a far lesser network and it will be even worse next week when they move to Friday. I'd be shocked if they draw over 200k next week. I am surprised it was this high honestly.

I thought they'd do under 500k. Glad to be right.
