Braxton will stay at Ohio State ...somebody is getting screwed. I dunno who, but three top tier QBs and one slot in a loaded team defending a championship. Yeah that is going to suck for someone real bad

Was listening to Finebum the other day and a discussion of the greatest college QB of all time came up. A caller suggested Manning was better than Tebow. Paul ran down a list of the things manning didn't do that Tebow did and I bought it. But it started the conversation of who is the best college QB ever. I won't call Tebow the best QB. I will call him the best college Player ever. Every area he had it. To me Manziel was the most exciting player and QB in college ever. But the best QB in college...ever? Damn that is hard. Montana was very good, heart of champion, won often, scored often had great mechanics but I don't know if he is the greatest college QB ever. Help me out guys. Gimme your top five or top three college QBs. Do not consider NFL performance. College only

Braxton will stay at Ohio State ...somebody is getting screwed. I dunno who, but three top tier QBs and one slot in a loaded team defending a championship. Yeah that is going to suck for someone real bad Can you imagine someone like Meyer thinking up formations and plays with 2 or 3 of those guys on the field at the same time with all the things those QB's can do. I think it's going to be a blast to watch. Was listening to Finebum the other day and a discussion of the greatest college QB of all time came up. A caller suggested Manning was better than Tebow. Do you just use wins or efficiency rating, passing yards or a combo or just the eyeball test. Hard to use efficancy or TD/Int ratios as sole judge cause lets face it...used to just be chuck and duck 20 years ago plus in passing, with much lower comp percentages due to the way the offenses ran compared to today. All that being said, and I'm basing this completely off of what was done in college got a bit of a weird list and in no order it's (ugh) Tim Tebow (was efficiant, unstoppable runner, won 2 titles and a Heisman) Matt Leinart Vinny Testeverde Tommy Frazier Ty Detmer

Forgot about Testeverde. My short list
Ty Detmer Tim Tebow Joe Montana Roger Staubach Andrew Luck (I know it's recent, but he won, he led and he was gloriously excellent as a passer/runner/all around cerebral titan
Honorable mention: Jeff Tannehil S.Carolina. most excellent mullet this side of Kenny Powers Cameron Newton. I won't put him on the short list bc he only played one real season but Damn was it a good one

Vince Young and Kellen Moore deserve to be on the short list to me.
And while he was a royal f***up, Johnny Manziel certainly deserves to be considered.

So I was right. Gene Chizik got a job at UNC as the D coordinator.
Jeff Long re elected as president of the CFP. When asked for comment Mr. long had this to say: "Umm....uh.....really? (Mumbles angrily)... Well couldn't be any worse than having to live in Fayetteville"
NDSU locks in coach until 2021.
CFP will not budge on dates and times of semi final bowls during yrs the Sugar and Rosé are not hosting...whatever dude we have a playoff I ain't gonna bitch.

UNC and Wake Forest have scheduled an out of conference home and home series for 2019&2021. The two ACC schools are situated within about a two hr drive of one and other. This marks the first time two power five schools from the same conference will meet in out of conference games...yes you read that correctly. They are both ACC teams, located in the same state but will play non-conference games against each other.
I wonder if the SEC is paying attention to this. I'd love the A&M/Mizzou series to go on. If anything this enables a money maker at a neutral site. Say we have Bama vs Florida in New Orleans or Arkansas vs Tennessee at Gerry World or another motor speedway?

ESPN said this was the first time. Colorado may have still been Big XII or maybe ESPN is ignoring that since they were not conference mates when the game was scheduled

ESPN's Mel Kiper dropped Oregon QB Marcus Mariota to No. 4 overall on his newest Big Board.

This just in! Alabama superfan RednexnTtown15 from an Alabama football forum claims to have uncovered evidence that Ohio state had football's deflated late in the 2nd quarter of the Sugar Bowl earlier this month. RednexnTtown15 was asked for his proof and he stated : "uh...I meen thar int no hway them **ckeyes beat Bama Square! Y..you know. Them cheated all them times they won beeg gaymes!"
No word yet on an NCAA investigation into the matter, however Alabama head coach and part time God in Tuscaloosa Nick Sabin was asked if he was aware and had this to say: "Well I wouldn't say that is outside the realm of possibility, but if true I'd say it backs up my point about all these up tempo offenses and how something has to be done to protect these young players.". The report ended abruptly when the interviewer's head exploded as he attempted to make sense of what he'd just heard.
Back to you Andrew

Western Kentucky sophomore QB Parker McLeod will transfer and has decided to retire from football.
The former three-star Alabama recruit transferred to WKU in May because he was buried on the depth chart behind Blake Sims and Jacob Coker. He sat out the 2014 season due to NCAA rule, but has apparently now decided to hang up his cleats and focus on his studies.

ESPN's Mel Kiper dropped Oregon QB Marcus Mariota to No. 4 overall on his newest Big Board. No way in hell I take Winston With the baggage and questions of whether he can keep his head on straight I just can't see taking Winston that early. Mariota being a slightly- built running qb hurts him a bit, seems like an injury waiting to happen.

I'm surprised Braxton Miller is staying but that could just be for now. He can make a more educated decision in the summer. I'd be shocked if all three guys stay. Miller is of course in the best position to transfer since he sat-out the '14 season and can play anywhere outside the con in '15.
