Jones is too big to take down in one hit like that.

The scary thing is that Cardale Jones could have been a starter in another power 5 school, at least from what we saw in the past few games. And yet he was the third best QB at Ohio State.
I also really like the gutsiness of that 4th down call.

That's one way to get through a slow start.

Bucks tie it up 7-7 with just under 5 left in the first.
Huge drive for OSU.

Oregon is going to be shooting themselves in the foot if they give up more PI calls like that.
And they tackle like 2008 Lions.

Oregon is trying to give away the game on both sides of the ball.

Ohio State's defense is really stepping up here.

Oregon's trying the speedup offense here at the end of the 1st quarter.
....and it's led to a false start

That should have been a flag.

Worst case scenario for Oregon, down already and their strategy isn't working. I don't they're they're used to having to adapt, whereas that's all Ohio State has done.

one quarter down 14-7 Ohio State.
So far, no blowout here, in fact it looks like Oregon has stage fright.

That should have been a flag. Agreed. Maybe the ref had a bad angle but a clear penalty. Good no-call on the late hit to. Would have been cheap.
