That High Fly Flow as a crossbody to the outside is an awesome sight. I can't remember anyone in America using a frog splash into a crossbody.

I'm liking Josh Barnett on the call, Mauro Ranallo not as much. He sounds like he's trying too hard. I hate to put it that way, because I appreciate the effort, but it's just nonstop info dump. Exactly. Just way too much stuff being thrown out. It is either a comparison to a past feud, name dropping someone, some factoid about someone's past that includes un-needed info or him repeating something from earlier in the match all on top of him trying to call the match and explain the moves. He doesn't let anything breathe or set in.

I appreciate some of the factoids and references, but I agree he might be overdoing it. Overall, I like him though.

I'm jealous of everyone who actually has this channel/is able to watch this. Just want to get that out there.

I'm glad I'm not the only one taking issue with Ranallo near-constantly spouting unnecessary background info. Really takes away from the match.
I mean, I get laying down history, but when the documentary opener already does enough of that for the match itself, it's just not needed.
Barnett might not be bad if Ranallo would cease the motormouth enough to let him get in more than a few words edgewise, but he sounds kinda bored with it all.

That dropkick looks great, especially the way the opponent falls out of the ring.

This is really solid. I wish I knew more about both guys and the backstory of the match.

Loved Barnett's "He'd rather come down on you from Heaven than battle with you in Hell" when talking about one of them going to the top.

That Slingblade counter looked more like Tanahashi got Samoan dropped.

If anyone is an avid New Japan viewer, is the Tombstone pretty rare there? I know Okada uses it as a signature move, but I remember in the 1990s when I saw a lot of Japanese wrestling, it was used like Americans use the scoop slam.

They've got to be timing this on purpose. Every time AXS goes to break, Destination America is on a break too.

This is really solid. I wish I knew more about both guys and the backstory of the match. Same. This is the first time I have ever really watched any New Japan Pro Wrestling other than the occasional clips on YouTube. I'm enjoying this match but I don't know much about either guy other than Okada's stint in TNA.

Man, I miss seeing ringside press/cameramen. Such a big fight feel with them there.

And now I see why Okada did so well in the Best Dropkick poll.

Commentary has been surprisingly great so far and I think they chose a great match to introduce everyone to the product. Ranallo just needs to take a deep breath and let the action speak for itself sometimes though. I can see where he's coming from since most people watching are going to be unfamiliar with everything, but it's a bit much. Barnett is a lot better than I thought he'd be.

Time of the match in the graphic was a nice touch.

Tanahashi's got that 'limited skills' gimmick Booker tried to put on Cena.
