Did they do a double turn in this match? That's what I'm getting from this. The focus is going on Okada overcoming the onslaught and showing fighting spirit.

I love that Okada sold that elbow drop... great psychology in this match...

Never heard the term Pyrrhic victory used in a wrestling context before.

Awww man! I hate that it had to go to commercial right then. This match is awesome.

That was awesome. Rainmaker, but his arm is too hurt to make the pin.

The art of pro wrestling is on full display here.
They're pulling off this brutal match, but it's not about killing each other with stiff strikes or taking huge bumps. Pure psychology. Okada's finish is a short arm clothesline, something we've seen a million times before, but the way his opponent sells it and the commentary puts it over he might as well be dropping a bomb on the guy.

The ref is really good here too! Making a big motion to try and hear Tanahashi over the crowd and Okada trying to claim he gave up.

Awesome match.
One thing I love, the commentary doesn't kill the crowd noise. In WWE, TNA and some indies when they add commentary in post-production, you lose all the sounds of the crowd and the ring but NJPW or AXS, has done a masterful job in not losing the natural sounds of the match.

Man, I try to switch over to TNA during the commercials (which are thankfully super-short) and it just seems terrible in comparison, in every way.

Only bad thing about this show... having to take commercial breaks during highly dramatic parts of the match...

YES!!
That match made me love Okada. Hot damn. He had to have gone for that Tombstone 6-7 times, I wanted him to hit it so badly, and when he finally did it was one of the best looking Tombstones I've ever seen.

Please tell me Okada vs. Minoru Suzuki is on the next episode... which I guess will be in two weeks since I believe next week will be the 3rd episode again.

I have become a huge fan of Okada between these three shows and WK. I like Suzuki as well and will have to find that match if it isn't on the schedule.
But man, Josh Barnett is the best commentator in wrestling right now. 3 shows in and he is blowing away everyone from WWE, TNA, and ROH (yes I know that there is more than that but that is what I see).

Yes, next week they will replay the third episode (Tanahashi v. Okada from April 2013, NJPW Invasion).

Great match between Okada and Goto and Awesome match between him and Tanahashi. Showing why he is a Future Legend in Wrestling.
Next week is a repeat it looks like due to that MMA event. I think the listing showed Okada vs Makabe as the next episode

This is amazing. It's actual wrestling, compared to what we get these days.
