Hello ladies and gentlemen, I'm Dan Lashley, co-owner of FAN. Have you ever wanted to do something for the main FAN site, but not sure what we need?
Well wonder no more! We are looking for people to cover these topics:
-current movie reviews -movie news
-current tv reviews -single articles focusing on stuff like Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, etc. - tv news
-mainstream comic reviews -indie comic reviews
-wwe review -indie wrestling roundup (chikara, roh, tna, etc) -Maybe a series focusing on 1 or 2 rising indie guys -week in wrestling
We're also looking for someone who has their pulse on all things pop culture and are able to round up the biggest pop culture news to post on the main site daily.
Applicants for the above slots must be able to do this on a weekly basis. This is a must. Non paying, but your work will be seen by a LOT of people. A writing/audio/video sample will be required.
As always, if you have ideas for articles/podcasts/ or video content, please feel free to PM myself, Numero99, or Hawk Jefferson. Thank you for you time.

I tried to get a sports article off the ground a few times. It never really got much feed back or interest.
That said, I'd love to see one. Trick is not just being Dead Spin.

I know there's a million gaming videos, but I'm looking to get some stuff together to start back up my youtube channel. So instead of grabbing stuff from RF Video, I was thinking of doing a bunch of different things, but not just video games, of course wrestling is always a huge interest and something would probably go there. But I'm wondering about stuff like that.

I am used to writing album reviews because of my job at my student radio station.
I am also interested in mainstream comic reviews.
I am trying to contact a friend who is an English major that edits for a self-published comic series. I think he would be useful to you guys.
He could provide indie/mainstream comic reviews, albums reviews, and mainstream/indie video game reviews.

I'd always thought about doing a comedy sports podcast talking about past sporting events but its an idea I've really not put into action yet. It would kind of be like ESPN's Cheep Seats but in more of a free form podcast instead of being MST3K. That or it could be in like a "sportscrap". humorous articles about the worst in sports.

I said it in the thread in the writer's forum but I'd be willing to do TV reviews. Particularly, Better Call Saul and The Walking Dead when those come back. Maybe even Black-ish although I don't know how popular that would be here. I'd also be up for doing current WWE reviews if someone else wants to team up and do them dueling review style.

I can't really help you with the stuff you're asking for, but if you guys are interested in a Re-writing The Book style column that encompasses not just wrestling, but also pop culture, I've been sitting on an idea for some time. If that sounds like something you guys would want, I can PM you about it when I'm back on my laptop.

I'm interested. Im quite good with all things pop culture and being British I might be able to be a quirky and different side to the project.
