Eh, Jannetty appearing in WCW wasn't that random to me. Jannetty in ECW for the short time he was there, on the other hand... The fact he received no fanfare, no repackaging and no push made it seem random to me. They were happily milking anyone of value from Crush to Virgil, but former IC/Tag Champion Marty was just there. They actually started Jannetty fairly strong, with him helping to clean the ring of the Flock early on.

Wasn't aware that the Fabulous Kangaroos were actually Australian but one is so I guess they count. I always thought Outback Jack was a Kiwi but turns out he's Australian as well. Bill Dundee was born in Scotland and just simply grew up here so you can't really count him and Jonathan Boyd I know nothing of but he's apparently Australian as well. Regardless, Hudson was our only "TV guy" during the 90's unless you count Mark Mercedes and his 2-3 mid 1990's WCW appearances which I don't. Okay then, if you're not counting Bill Dundee's being raised in Australia, spending decades there and starting wrestling there as him being Australian because only being born there counts... he was there long enough that his son Jamie WAS born there. So if being born there is all that matters, JC Ice is Australian. We'll take him. Jamie Dundee is a bad ass.

They actually started Jannetty fairly strong, with him helping to clean the ring of the Flock early on. To be fair, that doesn't mean as much as it should as at times the Flock could be cleared from the ring by a loud sneeze. It's a shame they never had a real feud as I liked both the Flock and Marty, I think a modern repackaging could have done wonders for him.

For once I actually think WCW did everything they could with him.

From Wikipedia of the Machine
Emory Howard Hail[1] (December 13, 1969 – January 28, 2006) was a professional wrestler with World Championship Wrestling in 1998, and then going to the X Wrestling Federation. He was brought into WCW by Jimmy Hart to be the next "big thing," in line for a main event. His WCW matches were highlighted by flashing the "Hail" warning, as his "birth" name was Emory Hail. He was known in WCW for his jumping piledrivers called "Hail's Bell."
His masked persona, "The Machine," was taken directly from the Nicolas Cage movie 8MM, in which the character was a masked sadist in snuff films. Jeremy Borash acknowledged the inspiration for the character on WCW Live. He only wrestled one match as The Machine against Diamond Dallas Page.

♪Disco Jobber! Disco Jobber! Disco Jobber! Yeah yeah yeah yeah!♪ He was much more than a jobber, he got a fairly decent lower midcard push, won several titles, got to be one of the few nWo members that actually had a proper storyline as Scott Hall's lackey and was more over than most of the present day WWE roster despite being on the losing end of most of his feuds. His act shouldn't have worked, but he made it work.
