Okay, so not as often as I thought. Still seems too much though. Didn't happen but once every 5 years or so if I remember right. Maybe I don't. I'm out of it.

I don't understand why the world still cares about Justin Bieber. He's retired from singing hasn't he? He's basically just a retired singer who gets into trouble and thinks he's a gangster. How is he interesting at all?My man, you've answered your own question. To paraphrase the first Spider-Man movie: The one thing people love more than a celebrity is to see a celebrity fail.

"Justin Bieber dresses like a pimp on Sesame Street." And even the drug dealers going into his music says "I've Snuffed Enough of This"

I hate how criminal acts and being a disrespectful little shit now equate to "hahaha, such a rebel, such a character!" To be honest, most teenagers would turn into total douchebags if they suddenly became millionaires and could have sex with almost anyone they want. I'm not defending the guy or anything, because he should have people around whose job it is to try to steer him away from self destructive behavior and look out for his best interests. That's why I'm not nearly as hard on these young celebrities as most people are. Yeah, they act like asshats but they have grown up in a fantasy world, not reality. That being said, I like these roasts regardless of who is being roasted because it's funny watching celebrities talk crap to each other in a playful fashion, so I'll be watching.

I am not overly optimistic. Given how awkward his Between Two Ferns appearance came across, I don't know how well he really takes a joke, so it might just be like Trump's where it felt uncomfortable as hell with him just clearly not enjoying himself. Or worse, like Chevy Chase's.

These things haven't been the same since Giraldo died. He just destroyed every time. Him and Patrice O'Neal alone would be enough for me.

I just want one comic to get to the podium, look at Beiber, and say "This is just too easy" before walking off the dais and out of the building.

Just once, I want to see Comedy Central approach an often mocked celebrity and ask if they'd like to be roasted, and the celeb just goes nuts and publically tears into them, like "NO! F*** you, I'm AWESOME!" They don't even give a damn, they're just like, "how dare you ask me that"? I want Kanye West to do that at some point.

If they ever do roast Kanye, I want it to get really bad and see someone like Jeffery Ross say "Well, this went really South all of a sudden..." Then Norm MacDonald is ironically serious in tone to hilarious effect.

When they do this, I want them to bring in Norm MacDonald to act as a balance. One of the greatest of Canada's exports roasting one of the worst of Canada's exports.

I actually thought Franco's roast was pretty great with the highlights being Bill Hader's Hollywood character and Andy Samberg. YES I loved both of those. Samberg's was my favorite, he went the complete opposite direction of everyone else and ended up being the funniest person on the show.

I'd argue other way around I can understand defending Justin Beiber...but you just insulted Norm McDonald. You know,my birthday party is pretty full. I'm gonna have to un-invite you.
