I was banned from visiting my newborn son at my ex's home because her mother didn't like me chewing them both out for not letting me know he was born until he was two days old, despite being promised I could attend the birth. Since my ex rarely takes him outside I only saw him for a grand total of 45 minutes in his first four months, and it took the threat of legal action before I was allowed to see him at my ex's home again.
Thankfully, she's moving into her own place soon, and I will have no restrictions at all.

I got thrown out of a concert for having a ball-point pen in my pocket. The security guard told me to either surrender the pen or leave the amphitheater. His reasoning was, "We don't want anyone getting hurt in the mosh pit." I refused to surrender the pen on principle and tried to explain to the guy that there wasn't going to be a mosh pit at a Deep Purple concert, and that even if there was, I - a (then) 26-year-old guy in an aloha shirt and khakis - wasn't going to be doing any moshing. He didn't like my attitude and made me leave.

I've never been banned from anywhere to my knowledge... but if anyone wants to be banned I can help with that I'm in the same boat. If you want to flex your muscles you can though. I want to see what it feels like to be unwanted.

I was "banned for life" from a bar once. I Showed up there one night and found my roommate stinking drunk and on the verge of getting into a fight with some guy. The bartender asked me to take roommate home and I managed to get him out the door. On the way to my car, Steve saw the other guy's car and leapt on its hood, shattering the windshield with a flying elbow. I quickly shoved him in my car and took him home. A few days later I went back to the bar and was told (very nicely) that neither I nor any of my roommates were welcome there any more "for our own protection". The guy who had his windshield broken had vowed to kill Steve and me if he ever saw us again. Everybody who knew the guy believed he would actually do it.
About nine months later I stopped in there again and they welcomed me as if nothing had ever happened.

There are a couple of 2 liter bottles of pop in my refrigerator that have post-its on them (from my wife) that specifically bans me from drinking from them. I also think that I am still not allowed at the local Chuck E Cheese. I told them I regret the incident and the kids that witnessed it were so young that I am sure that they won't remember it, but apparently that is still not enough. You pooped in the ball pit, didn't you? Now no one has ball pits anymore. This is why we can't have nice things.

I was banned from Ponderosa Restaurant in Logansport Indiana because I threw a bread roll back at a kid. I was 18 and old enough to know better, but I could argue that he was 7 or 8 and old enough to know not to throw it at me in the first place.

Okay, this here is going to be something that I have told only a few people about. I am still a little pissed off about it, but I have calmed down about it. Story time.
Last February, I got banned from a record store that I liked shopping at for allegedly harassing a female employee. The store manager told me about this and I was caught off guard about. I was really confused about it because I had no idea what he was talking about. For some reason, he gave me the number to the human resources manager. I later called the HR guy and apparently the guy started mentioning stuff that don't match my behavior like leering at women or licking lips in the name of the lust, or even following someone around like a puppy dog. I told him that I didn't know anything about that. He said that he would try to see what was up. I didn't hear from him after that, so for some reason, I called him again and he said that they don't want me in there and he supposedly talked with higher-ups. They said that I "bother the girls," and then I tried telling him that it probably wasn't me who did any of that. So he said for me to give it two months before we talked again.
Two months later, I talked to the district manager of the record store company and she had told me that I made inappropriate comments and was really close to an employee. She also added that there TWO employees, which confused me even more as that was news to me. I even told her that I recounted my visits and I had a hard time finding anything remotely matching what they had said that I did. I think she might have seen that they may have gotten the wrong guy.
A week later, I talked to the HR guy again, and this time, I poured it all out of my chest. It felt like a rant because I needed to get it off my chest on how I recounted my visits and looked at specific dates on when I was in there, and also how some of the stuff that was said that I did doesn't sound like me at all.
Just letting you guys know, my main interest in this was just to clear my name. I am not even sure if the ban was lifted after talking to the district manager and to HR. I am still pissed at them that I don't want to go back, at least not right now and it's almost been a year.

There are some other things that I should mention about my example. One, I was told by the store manager three days after my previous visit. The question in my mind is why didn't he tell me when I was in there a few days before? I only went in there to pick up holds and then I left. Two, I was not in there for two weeks before that previous visit. That's a good amount of time not to be in there.

I wasn't formally banned, but I did remove myself from a White Sox forum because the people there take the "no ketchup on hot dogs" argument way too damn seriously. (I did receive a three-day "vacation" for quoting Ozzie Guillen about Wrigley Field.)

I got banned from a newsagent for "byrne-stealing" (simply reading comics in the store and not paying for one), when I tried going back in for a lollypop, one of the employers recognized me and we ended up playing tug-of-war with the lollypop.
