Former WWE Diva and TNA Knockout Tara recently joined Jim Ross‘s Ross Report podcast to talk about her time with WWE and TNA,
Poor cross-promotion between TNA and The Squared Circle: Tara tells a story about the time she spent $6,000 of her own money to promote a TNA show in Chicago at her restaurant, The Squared Circle. When asked if she knew about it, TNA President Dixie Carter only said, “Yeah, I heard.” Tara also held a party for some of the talent at her restaurant while they were in town. While they were there, two people from the TNA offices sent an email to the roster asking them to promote another pizza place in Chicago on Twitter as being “the best pizza they’ve ever had.”
Tara says that when she found out about it, she went off and told Bruce Pritchard, “The day I leave my job, I’m punching that c*** in the face,” in reference to Dixie. He replied that she’d be doing them all a favor. She says when she did podcasts to promote TNA and was asked how having a female boss was, she would have to lie and say how wonderful it is, which “made her want to vomit.”
I guess some will now accuse Tara of being bitter now?

We always have examples of the 'E being petty - but if this is a true, TNA asking their own staff to actually bury her pizza place is pretty damn disgusting.

You know someone is a terrible person, when Tara out of all people wants to punch them out.

Is amazing that the most creative and innovative decisions in TNA are seemingly in the department of how badly they can screw over those who work for them.
Within six months I predict that TNA management somehow gave the family member of one of their employees some kind of cancer and docked their pay for taking off work to take care of them.

I'm not one to advocate violence of any kind, but Dixie does seem like the kind of person who needs some sense knocked into her.
Though judging from her past track record and how long she's been at this, if she hasn't learned anything at this point then she never will.

I only went to the Squared Circle once. Tara came in about 10 minutes after we sat down, and talked to EVERYONE.

I don't agree with hitting someone but if someone cost me 6000 dollars (Don't know if it was promised to be paid back or not) and encouraged my co workers to say "X is the best place in Chicago for Pizza" after I did something nice for them I'd be pissed.
If I were TNA and I got a letter requesting that I say "X Pizza place is the best" I'd simply respond with "Sure, I'll say that as soon as you let me say WWE is better than TNA". It's basically what TNA encouraged their workers to do on a much smaller local scale.
I don't think I've ever heard anyone that isn't employed by TNA put Dixie over as a great boss either. Some guys are nice about it but even guys like AJ start with "Well she isn't a wrestling person but she's very nice". After 12 years the woman SHOULD be a wrestling person.

Tara is beloved by her peers and is way up there for most fan-friendly wrestler. So it must take some kind of unique stupidity for her to hold views like that towards someone.
Congrats Dixie.
Fake edit: I'm listening to it now and Tara also brings up she only knew she was booked for a TNA ppv via twitter. What an organization.

The company hates her, her family's basically disinherited her, and every week we get new stories about how incompetent she is and how none of the employees past or present have anything good to say about her.
Mr. Burns is more well liked than Ditzy.

Say what you will about Easy E and Vinnie Mac, but at least they didn't tend to go out of their way to screw the people in their employ.
Wait. Dolph lost the title for WHAT!?!?
Ok. Let me start over.
Say what you will about the Insane Clown Posse...

I think people just see Dixie and instantly think she must be lovely, because she's a southern lady with an accent and an innocent look about her. But really, she's just like all other promoters: sleazy.
Her company is a joke. She's a joke. And the punch line isn't even funny; it's sad.

I remember hearing about a clause in TNA contracts that doesn't allow contracted talent to disparage the company. Wouldn't surprise me if that extended to Dixie herself in some way.
Lot of bad karma coming her way.

You know someone is a terrible person, when Tara out of all people wants to punch them out. Tara/Victoria is an absolute sweetheart and had a bunch of WWE/OVW talent to help her promote when she originally opened Black Widow Customs in Louisville. I can't imagine her wanting to punch someone out for realz

Dixie is that condescending aunt who gossips about people behind her back, always has a new boyfriend 20 years her junior, and she usually wants to bum money off of you.

Dixie definitely pulled a big-time dick move, but I can't endorse Tara calling her the c-word and threatening to assault her either. That's just vile and unnecessary.

I've meet her and she is like said a sweet heart. After meeting her I became a bigger fan of hers because how nice she was. She was one of the nicest people you would ever meet. For her too want to do that speaks how Dixie REALLY is.
