Yeah, I loved that I woke up to various TNA people tweeting all over the place about it, like it was some huge thing, then I go to Facebook and it's mentioned there but she's only called "the cheerleader" and TNA isn't listed once. Great marketing there, guys!

I never liked Will Ferrell. This does nothing to change that.

Is that Hannibal Burress standing in the background behind Will Ferrell? Nope, but...

Your new knockouts champ, Will Farrel! If they actually did this well in an Andy Kaufman kinda way it could be awesome, and I'm not usually a fan of that kind of nonsense.

I'm sure TNA will be pleased to hear that this got a mention in the Leading Off section of the new issue of Sports Illustrated. Although there's no mention of the company Taryn works for; she's identified as a stuntwoman.

TNA is promoting this as a big deal. Unfortunately the article doesn't mention them once. Remarkable. Give the WWE credit, when one of their guys is in a movie that's got nothing to do with the WWE (promotionally or what) they don't promote it. And they shouldn't... I mean, after all, these wrestlers are INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS, right ( ), so they technically don't work FOR the WWE and are not doing it on WWE time....

I don't know if anybody mentioned the fact that this photo was in this week's Sports Illustrated, but Taryn is referred to as a "stuntwoman". Not "TNA Knockout", not "TNA performer", not even "pro wrestler"... just "stuntwoman".

Yeah because TNA doesn't insist on getting the plugs in. If one of my contracted performers did a stunt at a basketball game I'd want the mention of TNA everywhere even if it was written in sharpie on her shoe.
Same thing happened with Lashley actually. He did all those Bellator fights, won them and all the major news outlets wrote "Former WWE Superstar".

The story got rehashed earlier I believe on Yahoo I think and she is described as former WWE wrestler. Your champ is described as a former WWE wrestler ouch.
