Anyone have any recommendations? Looking into possibly getting ten DVD's, only ones I know for sure are DDT 2013 and ASW9N1 The three compilations are absolute musts! Black Cole Sun is a modern classic and kind of overshadowed because of the events right around it. I was at Bowie and it was a stellar supershow without being a signature supershow.

Battle of Los Angeles 2013 (N2 is essential, N1 if you like the card) Mystery Vortex 2012 ASW 2011 N1 BOLA 2013 is secretly some of the best PWG shows ever. Johnny Gargano, Michael Elgin, and Kyle O'Reilly put on the best performances of their careers all in one tournament. Its actually kind of f***ing ridiculous how that turned out Edit: BOLA 2012 is also a must. Alot of amazing matches

Many thanks for the responses so far.
Any suggestions on older titles? Looking to get into older PWG now that I have the chance.

Well since Guerre Sans Frontieres isn't on there anymore, As the Worm Turns is one of my favorites. It was when PWG was still All-Star with local talent. You have Hero vs Alex Shelly, the Young Bucks (when they were heel as f***) vs Generico and Chuck Taylor, and Davey Richards vs Omega in an awesome match. Threemendous 2 is pretty great too, though you can't go wrong with any of the anniversary shows. The card is STACKED with Danielson vs Sabin, Richards vs Strong (no clone war bs), Bucks vs 2 Skinny Black Guys (Generico/Human Tornado), a humorous encounter from Colt Cabana and Sexy Chucky T, and Hero bringing the best out of Joey Ryan in the main event. And just looking at DDT4 2009 should sell you on it.
f***, you can't go wrong with most of 2009. Just relooking at those shows just reminded me of how that was my favorite year from the company.

Threemendous II is one of my favorite PWG shows of all-time. It was also the first one I ever attended live, so it'll always have a special place in my heart. Definitely pick up Threemendous II.

Just ordered PWG Sells Out Volume 1, BOLA 2015 nights 1, 2 and 3, and Prince.
Could someone please holla when BOLA 2016 gets added to the blu ray sale? I need to scoop those and Bowie in stunning Blu.

so a week and a half ago i took advantage of PWG's winter sale, placing three orders getting everything between Black Cole Sun and All Star Weekend 12: Night Two. last monday i went to the mailbox and was surprised to find three packages, because i honest thought it was going to have taken a couple days longer. however, only two were from PWG (the third was from ROH). this was a little disturbing to me because a couple of years ago i placed multiple orders for their sale, and spent over eight months sending dozens of emails to get one of the packages. but i figured it'd probably come in the next day or two, so i didn't worry because i was going home for thanksgiving, and it'd be here when i got back. on saturday night i happened to check my email (which i do at least once every several months) and saw a message from PWG sent that monday saying that one of the shows i'd ordered (DDT4 2015) was sold out, please pick something else and they'll send it out. so i wrote back and picked Prince because it was the next show i didn't have. immediately after hitting send i went over to Highspots to use their Black Friday 33% off sale to pick up DDT4 2015, as well as a few other things. i drive back to my apartment today, and there's a package from PWG and i think "damn, that was fast". i open it up and surprise, surprise what do i find in the order: DDT4 2015. so i go over to Highspots to check the status of my order for DDT4 2015 and sure enough its shipped. i look up their return policy, and it says they'll do returns and/or refunds almost everything...except books, vhs, and motherf***ing dvds! so now i got an extra copy of DDT4 2015.

Chris Hero talks about why Excalibur declares that someone "did the deal" when they hit a Falcon Arrow, in this clip from his new Highspots shoot interview about his matches in 2016. Some bad language is featured. But lots more hilarity!

Sounds like Mystery Vortex IV didn't hit the usual notes which is a shame. Still, a below-par PWG show blows most shows out of the water so I still look forward to seeing it.

I've been hearing the same thing and it's baffling. I've seen some people say a bunch of newcomers were in the crowd so it didn't have the same energy that it usually does. Maybe PWG blew it's wad too hard on BOLA. Maybe it's time to stop the whole Mystery Vortex thing.

The problem is the prices for tickets are too f***ing high and its driven former regulars like me away. So now, all you get is a bunch of new people who are just getting into PWG so they're a bit unsure about how it all works or are hipsters who are there just to say they were there. These people leave at intermission and don't even bother to stay for the whole show.

Plus PWG got into several peoples' bad books by luring ACH and Matt Riddle away from existing bookings to be on the show. They did it with Pete Dunne as well, but Dunne did let his prior booking (4FW in the UK) know ahead of time.

With their location and reputation I can imagine they can charge ridiculous prices ($100+) and still have no problem selling out.
