Anyone got any info on Jonah Rock? I'm different levels of familiar with everyone else in this year's tourney except for him. His name rings a bell but I really can't place him. This is obviously from a while ago but he's a Samoan brawler from Adelaide who is part of TMDK. He's toured a couple of times with NOAH and is one of the top heels in Australia.

So happy Janela is in PWG. He always gave me a little Rocknes monsters vibe. Perfect fit

Looks like Travis Banks is out of this weekend's shows, as he's suddenly been booked for shows in the UK. My theory is that it's something to do with the renewal of his visa to stay in the UK.

I've finally set the ball rolling to come from across the pond to PWG/BOLA for next years edition
Going to book two and a half weeks off work. One week at the end of August and the first week of September (with hopefully a few days off tagged on at either side)

there have been numerous odd celebrity sightings at PWG in recent years, but i think this one takes the prize:
if that wasn't enough, guess who he's sitting by

So how was The First Night? Anyone have full results? I'd like to know because Night 1 was the first event my two friends have ever experienced in wrestling. Haven't heard from them yet, wanted to see if the show was good!

She liked Ricochet's work but she immerses herself so he's a cheating heel and doesn't root for him Her boyfriend was there and also way into everything, marked hard for Travor Lee and Janela's stiff off.

Glad to hear that Brooks was apparently really impressive against Haskins. He's one of the top talents in Australia because he's not only really talented but he's really good at getting into it with the crowd.

Night 2 results... {Spoiler}Jonah Rock b. Adam Brooks The Young Bucks b. Mark Haskins & Morgan Webster Marty Scurll b. Joey Janela WALTER b. Zack Sabre Jr. THREE WAY: TRENT? b. Matt Sydal and Rey Horus PWG WORLD TITLE MATCH: Ricochet b. Chuck Taylor (c) - NEW CHAMPION
Ricochet said afterwards that he's going nowhere, though that could just be him as a heel boasting about being champion. The rumoured date for the next PWG show is in January, a few days before Ricochet is able to be free to sign for the WWE.
A lot of talk suggested that WALTER vs. ZSJ was up there as one of the greatest matches in PWG history, Dave Meltzer put it within the top three matches he's seen there.

Mystery Vortex V is on January 12th. ...which is tonight! So far, I've only gathered that Ricochet and WALTER will be there, and likely some of the EVOLVE regulars like Zack Sabre Jr., Keith Lee and Matt Riddle.

I’m shocked by that because I usually see a tonne of tweets about PWG on my timeline but...nothing until right now.

So results for last night if anybody wants to read them. I’ll tag them since it is Mystery Vortex. {Spoiler}1. David Starr defeated Fred Yehi, pinfall following a reversal of a Koji Clutch
2. Joey Janela defeated Flash Morgan Webster via submission with a crossface
3. Sammy Guevara defeated Rey Fénix, pinfall following a 630 senton
4. Keith Lee defeated Zack Sabre Jr. pinfall following an F5 into a Jackhammer
5. Trent? defeated Marty Scurll, pinfall following a ‘Dudebuster’
6. PWG Tag Team Champions The Chosen Bro’s (Riddle & Cobb) retained the titles defeating Ringkampf (WALTER & Thatcher) with an assisted GTS on Thatcher
7. Guerrilla Warfare Match: Chuck Taylor defeated Ricochet to become PWG champion for a second time after hitting him with an ‘Awful Waffle’ on tacks.
Ricochet puts Taylor over on the mic following the match, Taylor is a credited trainer of Ricochet. This was pretty much Ricochet’s final performance for PWG before heading into the WWE system.
