Guys...holy shit. People were chanting 'Show of the year' at the end of the night. They're might not be wrong after all is said and done. Here are my spoilerific notes from the show: - I made some new PWG buddies waiting in line! Honestly, next to the actual mind-blowing wrestling, this is the best part of going to the shows. - Yes, Sofia Vergara and Joe Mangianello were at the show. Joe's been to a couple of shows before, actually. I had to do a double take when I first noticed, but it was definitely her. She was very bored after the 3rd match. Mangianello was laser-beam focused all night. - Zack Sabre Jr is the nicest dude ever. Had a short chat with him(I actually told him about the Sofia Vergara thing and joked that he should use his awesome moves to woo her away from Joe Mangianello) while I bought his awesome new t-shirt. Also, he and I don't know how to do math when it comes to money. - Ciampa/Gargano was the best opening match for a PWG show in a loooong time. This was my 3rd favorite match of the night. With that said, it's a 4 star match. Guaranteed. - WCTT/Monster Mafia was a fun tag match. Good action throughout. We gave Josh Alexander a farewell. Page proceeded to give him a rock bottom. Page is definitely a based god. - Thatcher/Biff was probably the worst match of the night and that's not a bad thing. It had a real old-school wrestling match to it with lots of psychology. It ended suddenly, which I didn't like. Overall, I still enjoyed it. Thatcher looked good. - Speedball/Roddy(who issued an open challenge. I laughed) was AMAZING!!!! Easily 4.5 stars. Just balls to the walls awesome. Roddy retained which made me happy since he'll still be around for Threemendous III. Despite the loss, Mike Bailey still looked like a million bucks and got over even more. That kid is going to become the new Generico in PWG. This is not a bad thing. Silver/Cage was GENIUS booking. The little shit brickhouse v. the actual shit brickhouse. Silver just keeps getting better and better, man. He's awesome. Cage was great too. This was a fun match that got the crowd right into it right after the intermission. ZSJ/Hero was a wrestling clinic. Both guys put on a hell of a display of technical wrestling and striking. Hero cut up his finger early in the match and there was blood on him and ZSJ.
Also, I love to hate Chris Hero. I like him as a person and respect what he's done in the business, but he's just bleh to me. Everybody around me thinks I'm crazy. I called them 'Chris Hero Sheeple'. Anyways, ZSJ won with an awesome kimura/wristlock/stomp combo. It seemed that the show was over and all we were going to get was Lee/Everett wresting each other in the main event.
However, suddenly, WILD YOUNG BUCKS APPEAR!!!! The Legion Hall lost their shit when they came out from the back. We lost even more of our collective shit when they challenged TrEverett for the tag titles. TrEverett accepted the challenge by suicide diving on Matt and Nick. - TrEverett/YB was your typical AWESOME YB tag title match. They really can do no wrong. Also, TrEverett looked awesome too. I don't understand how Everett flips the way he does. It's f***ing insane. Anyways, it seemed that TrEverett were going to retain until Nick superkicked Knox on the outside after dragging him out right when he was about to pound his hand on the mat for the 1-2-3. Matt low-blows Lee and suddenly Roddy comes running in from the back. He sick kicks Everett. This is of course proceeded by a Meltzer Driver and Patrick Hernandez(non-Elvis ref that's not Knox) gives the 3 count and the belts to the Bucks!
Roddy and the Bucks start beating on TrEverett some more and get chairs from the audience. Roddy sets Knox up and DBRs(End of Heartache...whatever) him through the chairs. Heel heat is at an all time high when.... ...SUPER DRAGON!!!!!!!!!!!!AAGAGHAJAJHAHJA!!!!!
BUT HE PSYCHO DRIVES KNOX! AND TREVERETT!!
THE NEW MOUNT RUSHMORE OF WRESTLING IS BORN!!!!!
The locker room empties and Mt. Rushmore 2.0 lay waste to everybody. The funniest part of the last segment was at the end of the promo annoumcing Mt. Rushmore 2.0, the Bucks storm back into the ring and immediately start selling Mt. Rushmore 2.0 shirts. Everybody marked for this and started a 'TAKE OUR MONEY!' chant. The Bucks did just that, I was sad because I didn't have enough money to buy one then and there, What a f***ing show! PWG is the best anything that ever evered.

And yet here's Roddy Strong... For a second there, I thought Roddy was cosplaying as Zack Ryder. You have no idea how badly I want this...

to be fair aside from Mack and maybe Joey Ryan are there any SoCal people worth booking over any of the people announced? Not tryna see Peter Avalon and Ryan Taylor in there Rocknes were over as hell until the only matches the ever lost were title matches.

However, since Chuck wasn't there, it looks like we have a new Young Bucks main event color commentator: Ethan Page Was that a one off thing? or is Page going to be a commentator for every show I wonder? It will be just nice to hear someone refreshing and different on commentary for once (not including Excalibur) With Chuck not being booked last night and him not being in BOLA while Trent? is, it really makes me wonder if WWE have signed him from that tryout camp he went to? Certainly a very deserving name for all his indy work/resume/the sheer following he has across Chikara, PWG etc etc over the many many years he has being doing it for
